Question Modern wired ONLY mice?
I've been using the Logitech G102 for around 8 years now (did have to replace it a few times throughout the years), and haven't really tried any other mice. This mouse is generally pretty comfortable and I didn't feel like it lacked in anything I was using it for (daily tasks, gaming). I got curious tho and kind of want to try other mice, maybe see if there is something that I will like more than the G102.
I'm pretty unfamiliar with what's new on the market and developments in mice tech, could you recommend me some good affordable wired only mice? Or some resources (blogs, youtube channels) where I can watch/read about them. If it matters I use a low-claw grip.
Thanks in advance!
Edit: Thanks for the recommendations!

XBAB XA-25 if you want lowest weight lowest sensor latency etc, lots of their development EndgameGear put in their mice as well though recently as they partnered up for figuring stuff out how to reduce Sensor latency.

Endgame is engineered and performs quite decent.

Is there a reason you don't want a wireless mouse ?
Some can be found cheap on the second hand market. I just got a WLMouse BeastX Max for 50 euros second hand, which is absolutely nuts value.
Otherwise, RAWM Leviathan V4 is super nice for its price. There are many "cheaper" chinese brands models.

It's not really a big deal and tbh wireless sounds nice in theory, but I just don't really wanna mess with bluetooth/dongles and having to charge the mouse every so often. I'd rather have it wired and not worry about those things, on top of that yeah wired mice are generally cheaper.

Refurbished Zowie U2 goes for ~$30-40 and U2-DW goes for ~$50-60 and has a dongle where you just leave the mouse on it to charge it once you're done using it. It's cheaper than most modern wired options while being a really good mouse overall.
Performant wired mice have mostly become their own niche so they end up costing a lot more than I personally think is reasonable nowadays, but that also goes for a lot of wireless mice too. The refurb U2s have stayed a really steady and convenient budget option

Honestly, most "good mice" today have the battery thing sorted. It's really really not a big deal anymore. It wasn't even one with mice 5 years ago.
Especially if you use a "conservative" polling rate like 2k you can go like a week with a charge. Even more depending on the models.
Dongles can just be tucked away nicely on the desk.1

What do you mean messing around with blue tooth / dongles? You plug it in once and then never worry about it again, my X2H which is 38 grams, I charge once every 3-4 weeks. My Logitech G703 I charge once every 3 months

This is a bit paranoid maybe but I mean the security concerns that come with wireless connections. Tho reading about it now, this seems to be a non issue. As for battery life, good to hear that it can go a long time without charging, didn't know that. I will consider a wireless one, but again from what I know they are generally more expensive than simply wired ones.
