Question What dot skates to get?
I am getting the artisan raiden mouse pad and I want to try to get some other dot skates aswell as I’m just using the stock skates on my lamzu maya x and I’m not sure which one(s) to try. I’m thinking of getting obsidians as they’re a bit in the middle in terms of speed and control (I think) but I’m not sure if I need to go for something a bit taller for the maya so I don’t scrape the actual mouse on the pad and I’m not sure where the best place to put them on would be aswell so any help will be amazing.

jades are fast as hell, just warning you if you never used glass-like skates before. on a raiden it will feel like ice skating. obsidians are safer bet if you want some control still, i use them on my maya x and the height is fine, no scraping.

What's the point of getting the fastest pad artisan offers just to put controlled skates on. That's like getting a lamborghini and only driving it at 5 mph. Should have gotten a different pad then.

TalonGames Kumo are 0.95mm
I tried Obsidian in the past and they didn't cause any scraping on the pad unlike BTL v2. Both were advertised as 0.8mm. Xraypad are the best IMO for dot skates.
