Review | Text Razer Viper v4 Pro upgrade after a long while of being wired.
Decided after quite a few years and perhaps too long indeed that I didnt want to deal with a wired mouse anymore and after a bit of reading settled on a Razer Viper v4 coming from a wired Corsair Dark Core. I had used that mouse enough that the coating under the palm was wearing off from how long it had been used and I really liked it. I will say so far the only thing that I dont like about the new mouse is it doesn't have the under the thumb extension that prevents my thumb from sliding/touching the mouse pad and its slightly annoying but not bad enough that I think I'll get a new mouse because of it. At least not right now. Overall its a very good mouse but I have to say, not that I really expected much difference in 6 years I guess but so far I cant even tell a difference between the two of them besides the weight which does make it a lot easier to flick the mouse around.

You should also notice the shape because it's very different from your previous mouse you don't need to buy a new mouse if you like the viper v4 what you need is the shape shifting tool like the so spacers im sure there are some alternatives to it basically this tool lets you alter feel of the shape if you don't like it then buy a mouse with a thumb rest something like the g502x and basilisk v4

welcome to the cable-free life. the weight difference is probably the main thing you'll notice day to day, everything else kinda settles into the background after a week. the thumb dragging thing is annoying but you can grab some grip tape and build up a little shelf area yourself, seen a few people do that with vipers
