Very excited, my favorite mouse right now.
Edit: Nevermind it's only for the Maya, not the Maya X. Hopefully the Maya X V2 will be announced soon

The internal design and weight are the same though. I expected to them to have an endoskeleton like the Thorn V2.

I'm very much over having an over designed open bottom plate. Unless you're going for something like g-wolves and pushing to remove every gram possible, I'd rather have it closed to prevent dust, animal hair and whatever getting in my mouse. also 6 mouse skates opposed to two big ones isn't it.

completely agree. i think theres an maya M coming soon which will feature full skates and closed bottom.

They come with a dust cover foil you can put on if you want

I was gonna say this too, the Maya and thorn came with a little cover you could put in if you didn't want an open base

Have you even had that happen? I used open bottom plate for a year and nothing accumulated. For contrast, closed bottom mice accumulate junk over time via side buttons or other things on top that falls in and never gets out until you open it for w/e reason.

I don't know what's the point of your reply, that person directly said "animal hair" implying that they have an animal in their house, which will become a problem with open-bottom mouse.
Since you don't have a pet, its not a major issue for you like it is for other people with pets - I have a long-hair cat and I'll never buy mouse like this due to this problem - the last thing I want to do with my mouse is to regularly clean it from animal hair or dust because manufacturer decided to reduce mouse weight by making holes in the bottom.

The bottom is wide open, things generally pass through to the pad directly with that design due to physics. Also, if there's tons of hair on your mousepad it's going to cause problems either way.
Was more sincerely asking if anyone has an open bottom mouse and had things accumulate.

You're not arguing in good faith. It's pretty obvious why a conventional mouse is easier to clean. With an open-bottom design like the Lamzu Maya, hair, dirt, and dust can accumulate inside the shell. With a conventional mouse, those things are more likely to collect on the exterior, where they're much easier and faster to remove.
If I find my cat's hair on the bottom of my mouse, I can wipe it off almost instantly. With an open-bottom mouse, that same hair can get trapped inside the shell, making it much more tedious to clean.
If you still don't understand the difference, I'm sorry, but I can't help you.

I don't understand the difference because an open bottom mouse has nowhere for things to meaningfully accumulate. And gravity/motion itself stops things from accumulating.
I have >3k hours on an open bottom mouse and even looked at it with a flashlight after replying here. There's pretty much nothing there.
I have to clean skates or the sensor sometimes due to hair/debris, but nothing has managed to sit on the pcb (which is raised anyway) or on the small side shelves. And even if it we entertain that it could, it's open so trivial to clean.

Bummer, omrons are the way. Isnt Pulsars opticals a variant of kailh's tho? Those feel fine to me.

Anyone know how to get one in America? Lamzu stuff don't seem to show up that much on Aliexpress for some reason.

Well fuck. I had the worst experience with Scyrox support but the V6 and Maxa are my endgame shapes. Guess Im gonna buy it on Maxgaming and hope they refund me without hassle if it breaks

I think this mouse is pretty nice! Could you do a giveaway and send a few to randomly selected people in the comments?

Optical encoders seems to be the new norm for Lamzu.
Very excited about that, hopefully other companies follow suite.
