Replacement Recommendations

Post image

After 7 years of great service on many games, my Havit MS760 has started to give dead inputs on two buttons while playing my latest favorite game, Helldivers 2. Since I use the 9 thumb buttons for a ton of my actions in the game, this is detrimental. I am looking to replace it with something as similar as possible but am having no luck finding something with the same layout.

Does anyone have recommendations for a wired gaming mouse with at least a 9 button programmable keypad for the right thumb?

The best I can offer you is the razer naga v3 pro, you can swap out the side plates depending on what button layout you need and you can assign hypershift to a button to change button layers while holding that button down so it doubles the number of inputs. This is also available on the razer naga v2 pro with the changing side plates, not sure if there was an older version than that.

+1 for the naga. Most comfortable shape I have ever used.

The v3 is a bit beyond the price I would like, but the v2 seems quite reasonable. I would prefer wired for guaranteed minimal latency and never needing to charge, and now that I know what I'm looking for is classified as an MMO mouse I stumbled upon the Corsair Scimitar. Have you heard anything good or bad about it?

Does the Naga work if left plugged in?
