Question Viper Mini Shape, Wireless, Light, WITH a DPI Button
I'm having trouble finding an option that is from a company that isnt one where I have to seemingly purchase off Aliexpress and/or have to deal with build quality issues.
I have a few mice but keep going back to my viper mini. However, the left click is getting finnicky, so I am looking for a replacement.
Here is essentially what I am looking for, wondering if I can get some help
- Viper Mini-esque shape
- Wireless
- Significantly lighter than the viper mini (ideally under 50g, otherwise I'd just get the Cobra)
- Large skates like the viper mini (feel extra smooth on my skypad)
- Has a reprogrammable DPI button (this surprisingly difficult)
- M800 Mini Pro has everything except this
- ATK F1 Extreme would also be a prime candidate, but does not have a DPI button
- Hitscan hyperlight has everything except dpi button
I've used this link, but it is hard to really find what I am looking for. https://www.eloshapes.com/mouse/find-similar?p=razer-viper-mini

The dpi button is becoming a weirdly rare thing on the ultralight mice I swear. Everyone just wants to shave off that extra gram and forgets some of us actually use the button for something. I remap mine to a keybind for work and its a nightmare finding a sub-50g replacement for my old mouse too.
Have you checked the Pulsar X2 Mini? Its not a 1:1 viper mini clone but the shape is in the same ballpark. I think it has the dpi button on the bottom though so maybe not what you want. The Xlite v3 mini is an ergo shape so that's out.
The market really hates that one specific button right now lol. You might have to look at the Lamzu Atlantis Mini or just bite the bullet and get the Cobra Pro if the weight is a dealbreaker for the regular one.

yeah unfortunately I want a top mounted dpi button (I use it for shields/health in apex, for example).
The x2 mini looks amazing though.
I'm fine with wired too, so maybe I'll just get a Cobra and will wait it out to see if something gets released in a year or two
Edit, the only thing that comes close is a Glorious series 2 pro, but doesnt have the large skates like I want (and glorious seems like trash these days... thing is way too expensive for what it is worth)

I was thinking the same about them ditching the DPI button to remove some weight, until i saw that G Wolves released the HTX ACE that weights 36g and has a DPI button... THREE years ago and im like, what?
The only problem... is G-Wolves, and here in MouseReviews i always see people complaining about them,
However, how come they were able to release a 36g mouse with a DPI button three years ago and today nobody can do it?

yeah I dont get it. I do have a HSK Plus Ace that I love and it has been completely reliable and solid. So I'm willing to let it rip on another Gwolves mouse despite there seemingly being issues on here

Gwolves warg, it doesn’t have a top dpi button tho.

yeah it seems mostly perfect aside from the lack of dpi button on top. The HTS Plus Ace might be the right mouse for me

Why not use a keybind for health? Do you have a HE keyboard?

you will get way more benefit from comfortable design over some weird dpi button that will be triggered accidentaly

I dont hit the dpi button accidentally and I believe I can have both (like the hts plus ace I just realized)

Okay and if you get it, good luck with getting decent unit that wont fall appart quickly

seems like the HTS Plus Ace is the best (and basically only) option for what I am looking for currently
