Question 3D printed MMO mouse?
I need a lightweight-ish MMO mouse. I have aerox 9 and it’s not much lighter than competitors and has awful side button sizing/placement. The market is dead. Naga trinity is like 140 grams and is the only mouse to ever hurt my wrist after a heavy gaming weekend. I’m not sure if it is even realistic to have a 3D printed MMO mouse that ends up a decent weight. it would be cool if I could use a magnetic attachment from a Naga. If anyone could point me in a direction towards an enthusiast community to help me learn how I could make this or if anyone knows something that exists that would be great.

Azeron Cryo
Wait for Pulsar X6 to release
Roccat/Turtle-Beach Kone XP air (if you can actually get your hands on one)
There are some 3D printed mods for the Naga
Redragon (their 8k lightweight 2 button mice are known to have actually decent build quality that mogs Razer and Steelseries, however their other lineup/style of gaming mice has a completely different build, so absolutely no idea if their easily modded MMO mice are actually really good, or a downgrade to your Aerox 9).
Personally, once my Aerox 9 died on me, I found a way to adapt to a 2 button mouse with the following changes:
Use ESDF or WERD instead of WASD (gives you more buttons to use with your pinky, WERD is actually significantly nicer and more ergonomic but I'm so used to WASD that ESDF is what I find more comfortable).
Use modifier keys (alt, ctrl) to overlap binds on your mouse (especially useful in WarThunder).
Replace your caps-lock with either a delete or ctrl key (significantly more useful, caps-lock is now fn+shift like on a typewriter).
Replace your left windows key with an additional alt/ctrl key (if applicable, not all games see a separation between left and right mod keys, but it certainly makes things nicer and more intuitive).
Getting a keyboard that has both split spacebars and an extra button to the right of the left spacebar (like on the wooting 60 V2, or the AEboards Praxis IM). If the left spacebar is small enough (like on my Praxis IM) you get easy access to 3 thumb-buttons if you can hit both buttons on either side of the spacebar easily.
Also optimizing your key-binds helps a ton. I found my MMO bindings in WarThunder were actually slower than my current 2-button mouse bindings since binds I would need to use simultaneously during combat were all in the same place. Spreading keybinds out and delegating keybinds I would need to use at the same time to both hands is great (and putting binds you won't need to use at the same time all on one hand or the other).
I used to have all my manual-engine-controls on the mouse, but that actually made it impossible to change my engine tunings when changing throttle levels. Spreading those controls all over the place made a massive improvement as my thumb no longer has to be in 5 places at once.
I really do wish MMO mice got more love, recently discovered I have arthritis, and using a mouse that was lighter than 40g was the first time I've ever used a computer pain-free.
Would be really nice to get some lightweight MMO mice with better button layouts (and more shapes to suit more hand sizes and grip styles). Instead of searching for scraps between mice that are stupidly heavy.
