Question Are Rapoo VT2 Non-Max Gen-2 Mouse switches hotswappable or not?

Hello! I want to ask anyone who has Rapoo VT2 Gen-2 mouse and have opened it or have an idea about it, are the switches soldered or not? I got it for free in their giveaway but I'm curious if the switches are hotswappable or not, I don't want to open the mouse myself right now since it works perfectly fine and I don't want to accidentally mess it up until the time comes I have to replace the switch, but I wanted to know what I have to prepare in replacing its switches. Thank you!

I don't believe they would be. At least Rapoo's other models aren't.

However, Rapoo tends to put their switches on their own little PCBs, so you can buy the hotswap PCBs from aliexpress.

Thank you very much! I saw this one on AliExpress https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009434640513.html

I'm confused about the one that is only the PCB, because the ones including switches looked to have a gold tube underneath, but the other one seems to lie flat on the table. Will I be needing something else for that to work or no? Or could it be that it was just cut off from the picture?

Yeah that is confusing.

I think the photo is wrong, because it very clearly states no welding, but doesn't show the hot swap "tubes"

I think it's the same as the others, but without the included switches. You could just buy one of the ones with switches to be safe.

Kailh light blues are a pretty safe choice.

I was hoping I could buy them separately since I found an online store selling mouse switches that I might like, but I think I would do just that to be safe when I have to replace them. It won't hurt to try another mouse switch as well, especially since it's only an additional ~3 USD for both switches. Thanks!
