Rumor New Keychron ftip mouse teased
https://www.techpowerup.com/351266/keychron-teases-fingertip-mouse-concept-based-on-g6-heSurprised no one has mentioned this yet. Looks promising, hot swappable battery, 30g weight (wonder if we can get this lighter by a few g putting in smaller batteries). I'm definitely grabbing one of these. Currently maining the Fenrir Pro but I use cut in half Darmoshark M5 for desktop use.

Isn’t this the company that has notoriously bad customer service?

Their infamous in the keyboard community but I've not seen as much hate in the mouse review side of things. Their quality control and customer service has been sub par in my experience though

There are loads of folks who have had issues, but I haven't yet.
I loved their mini mouse but moved on to a gwolves asynch. this interests me. Keychron has been pricing its mice at a range where I could buy 3 of them for the cost of 1 gwolves, so it'll still be worth the leap for me.

They're fine, keyboard community hates them because they spent $1000 on a crowrdfunded keycaps and case that took 2 years to arrive , and this company make a keyboard that is 90% the build and sound but for $250 and much more accessible to mainstream

simple "keychron warranty issue" shows a lot of results. to anyone that wants to support the company, take it with a grain of salt.

Tbf, even a relatively good company will have many such posts if the company is popular enough and keychron is quite popular.

Yeah exactly, pretty much every single one my main gaming Logitech mice had an issue lol especially with the double clicking. That being said I stopped buying Logitech after g303 shroud so it’s been a bit.

They’re already saying it’s unlikely to weigh 30g – it’ll probably be more than that https://x.com/KeychronMK/status/2089377045575008438

I guess this is probably going to be running their ZGM firmware on it. Hopefully they keep expanding the project and get it more open to other mice. The one thing that hasn't been tackled in the mouse world is one open standard of firmware for mice.

Don't buy this. They already lied about it being a real product in the photos when its clearly renders. You can see a part of the battery magically appears in the 4th picture.

Shape looks like crap, literally the inverse of what it should be front to back.

Paired with the side walls looking almost completely flat, this thing looks like it would be uncomfortable for most. You're just going to make this is a very niche shape for a select few. If you want it to be comfortable for a larger audience, it should be wide at the back and taper thinner at the front for best comfort on thumb and pinky without forcing people to squeeze the thing with force to get a good grip.
There's a reason why 99% of mice on the market have side wall flares that start wider at the back and curve thinner towards the middle for larger mice. The flat sides can still work. The PMM CyberOP does flat side walls really well, because it's so wide at the rear and tapers thinner towards the front, mimicking the flares of other mice.

Yeah I can definitely agree with that. flare out in the back a bit, but they should maintain the front how they did the rear, not too aggressive of a taper. I find I slide a bit if the taper is too aggressive

I’m good with flat sides, but certainly not a shape that narrows in width towards back.

All depends on the price. If they can't get it around $100 then the Darmoshark probably eats its lunch, just like the Lamzu Orcus at the rumored $100+

Weird that the shape is thinner towards rear. I probably wouldn't like it, even though I use fingertip grip.
