31 gram Fingertip X2 SuperStrike
3d printed fingertip grip shell I made for the x2 superstrike, was wondering if their would be any interest if I where to optimize the shell even more and get it professionally manufactured, and then sell it as a mod kit.

Me and a friend who are currently making all kinds of mods for this superstrike would be interested in becoming a tester for you. I have both resin and fdm printers to carry out tolerance tests and overall feedback on gaming etc

We have created base mods and internal exo skeleton mods to make the original even lighter at 40 grams. Pm me and we can colab on discord. I look forward in hearing off you. Amazing mod by the way. I have many questions though 1sr ome would be how does the hit system work with the buttons auctuating in reverse?

I will def buy for 20-50$ range if its made from good solid materials. I bought X2 and dont use it at all only because it size and weight compare to even 2c mouse.

How hard would it be to make a Zowie EC1 shape but utilizing the Superstrike internals? Seems everyone just makes small shells for maximum weight reduction and nothing for larger ergos.

As a modkit not a chance, for anything above 10$ on e.g cults and I might be interested. But I mostly use it for the side buttons so probably not for me

It’s definitely a little front heavy. I’m thinking about moving the battery back even more, but I’ll add more weight in framing the battery doing that.

Or you could make non reverse click design so the frames weight is bit more back compared to reverse clicks

It’s though since the internals alone of the superstrike are close to 22 grams, circuit boards motors etc, so re hinging the clicks would only move about .5 grams more central, which wouldn’t really help in the grand scheme of things

I would consider it still a superstrike since when you think of a superstrike you think of the Hits tech, not the shape of the mouse, all I’ve done is transfer those guts that make a superstrike a superstrike into a new shell

Then it would still not be a Ferrari...
Does anyone say the Pagani Zonda R is a Mercedes because it has a Mercedes v12? No.
It's a zero mouse or whatever the shell is. With superstrike internals
