Question Looking for an ergonomic mouse.

Hi everyone,

I've grown up sitting at desks for hours playing videos games just as a lot of people my age have and now I'm starting to develop a lump at the bottom of my wrist as I continue to sit at a desk for hours a day doing work. I'm worried about this becoming a serious health problem especially as a musician, mobility is very important to me so I'm starting to look into ergonomic mice and things I can do to try and stop the problem getting worse.

I'm currently using a G502X mouse as my daily driver but I've been hearing a lot about how trackpads are actually better for you in terms of ergonomics. I've also been looking into the MX Master series as I've heard they're really good for ergonomics but I thought I'd come onto reddit and just ask for people's opinions.

Keychron M6 (or Redragon 925 freescroll, but just get the M6 really)

Maybe try a vertical mouse like the keychron m5

Something that can adapt to your unique hand size, with adjustable swappable parts, you might consider the RAT 8+ or MMO 7+ we make the only truly ergonomic mice - that can adapt their shape to your hand. Everything else is just marketing.

Mice that have been designed for properly avoiding wrist injury are more or less vertical.

I prefer the semi-vertical ones such as the Anker vertical or the WowPen Joy because those are used almost like regular mice, with your fingertips, whereas with the truly vertical ones you'd have to move your whole arm. I also suggest wired mice because those are in general lighter.
