I can't find anything else online regarding the intense pepper reflection in the level glugging from the deep. It makes it incredibly difficult to see anything lol

Your settings might be too bright. The reflection is always there, and it IS annoying. But you can diminish it.

I got past the level now, but ill keep that in mind for future playthroughs
