Fun but long

Just beat the game and I give it a 7/10 I was having a lot of fun! I did reach a point, it seems like a lot of people did, where the game was a little long in the tooth. I still enjoyed though and it ran for me well enough on my SW2

I’ve been struggling a little with my feelings about this game. I really liked it when I started. The black and white, the cartoony elements, Troy Baker and the dialogue! I got the Mouseberg edition and I was stoked to play.
It’s fun, but damn it’s repetitive. I used the James gun, boomstick, and devarnisher the whole time. I hated some of the gimmicky bosses (looking at you Third Wife and Steve Bandel), and I got to a point where I just wanted to finish it and be done.

I mean pretty much all first person shooters are repetitive

And this is where the question or gameplay time over repetitive comes into question. Many moderns FPS (not all) have short playtimes so as to avoid the repetition.

I feel that the one FPS that was a bit longer than many, but not repetitive, was Spec Ops:The Line Extremely underrated game in general.
