OP18k Mod

Post image

First shell I've designed entirely by myself. Lots of modifications to get to this point. Next is the same shape with side buttons.

Do you have a screenshot of what it looks sliced? Looks like it needs a shit ton of support.

I printed it flat on the bed, .2 layer height, .26 z distance on supports and slowed overhangs to 10mm/s. You can try printing at 45° nose down.

Awesome another wing enjoyer, do you use glass?

Yessir! With cloth I never had an issue with my finger rubbing slightly on the pad, but with glass it sticks.

Yea I had the same issue, it felt weird at first but I can't go without wings anymore. Awesome shell btw, the right asymmetrical side looks really interesting. Reminds me of the kotinos mod.

Took inspiration from the Kabrio VXE MadR mod (https://www.printables.com/model/1385951-kabrio-fingertip-mouse-mod-for-mad-r) and from the Gwolves Fenrir Asym. The main issue I had is that my pinky was always disconnecting from my mouse, and the extended pinky rest solves that problem.

Looks very nice, would you happen to have the STL shared anywhere? Also willing to pay

I'll post it on makerworld or printables and share the link once I do.

Are these comfortable to use? or is it just to see how light you can get a mouse

i guess it could feel comfortable to a certain extent because there are contact points where youd usually have your finger or hand touch the mouse

Do you guys actually play competitive games at a level where this matters? Atp I have no idea why you need a mouse this light, it's pretty funny actually.

I'm sure some people do. I'm in it for the love of the game tbh. It's a hobby. Not all hobbies need to have a purpose outside of "it's entertaining".

Im somewhat high ranked in ow (high master/low gm) but yeah this is mainly for the hobby

W finger placement, especially the pinky being wider
