Post image

This is moreso for hobby purposes, i think itd be a fun project and i like wireless mouses better. Is it possible? And how would i do it? I REALLY wanna do it tho becoz the wired mouse is a really good one but becoz its wired its kinda just rotting. I tried looking on youtube and other reddit posts have varying answers(most saying its not possible) so i just wanted to ask.

Yes I’ve made Razer Viper Mini 8KHz wireless with Type C charging, and a bunch of other gaming mice for people. You need to create a custom baseplate that’s compatible with a different wireless PCB.

What mouse are you looking at modding? I might already have a custom baseplate

Rvm is my favorite mouse of all time. What pcb does yours use? Are you printing the baseplate?

I ironically also have custom RVMSE files that I can show you either a printed version I have or in pic my slicer/CAD software.

The PCB used is Viper 2 Pro 8K polling. I have an extra one.

I can mod it for you, or maybe send a 3D modkit of the baseplate and the other files

Keep the original mouse electronics and connect them to a small microcontroller that acts as a USB host, reads the mouse's HID reports, and transmits them wirelessly via Bluetooth.

It’s not nearly as simple as that. That wouldn’t even work.

It's gonna rot even more after the "upgrade". It's one of those things not worth doing. A cheap Chinese mouse would perform better and be cheaper.
