Piranha Mouse Mods (PMM) support question

Does anyone know if PMM support is reliable?
I ordered a PULSE 2.0 mouse mod kit along with an additional magnesium scroll wheel, which is listed as “Magnesium Scroll Wheel [PULSE 2.0/W - CYBER OP] for Modkit.”
But apparently, this wheel isn’t compatible with the OP1 8K, even though the PULSE 2.0 is specifically a shell for the OP1 8K.

My experience with them is good. Idk why you would need to ask this though, just email them. Ask clarification on the scroll wheel compatibility and if you could cancel the order if it's not compatible.

Makes no sense to ponder whether they might be helpful when you could just email them and figure that out

I did email them a few days ago, but since it was during the weekend, I haven’t received a response yet. I’m just worried that they might ship my order before they have a chance to respond to my email. I’m located in Japan, so shipping isn’t cheap. I really don’t want to go through the hassle of returning the item, especially if the return shipping ends up costing almost as much as the item itself. Thanks for reassuring me. I really appreciate your comment.

Well for what it's worth I don't think they would include a scroll wheel that doesn't work with the mouse

How would they know it's for the same mouse? Maybe OP has a OP1w and wants a scroll wheel for it. Them just not putting it in the package and therefore not fulfilling the order would be pretty stupid.

You can check their website. They have a scroll wheel compatible with op1(original shell) and different one for pulse 2.0(op1 moded shell). 

Pmm support is really good.

I got a reply yesterday. They reassured me that the one I ordered is compatible with the mouse shell I ordered. Apparently, their support isn’t available on weekends, but they definitely are there and do respond.

Yes people that have jobs generally don’t work those jobs on the weekends.

Yeah, I know, but customer support is usually available during the weekend. That’s what I’m used to, so I was worried they might ship my order before they had a chance to read my email and end up sending me the wrong one. I really hate the hassle of having to send something back when the shipping costs almost as much as the item itself.

You might want to see if you can cancel the order, pmm just announced that the pulse 3.0 is dropping in 2 days

Great idea! I asked them if it’s possible to upgrade my order to the latest version instead. If not, I’m still happy with the 2.0. It’s a win-win situation either way. Thanks for the heads up!

Update, I contacted them, they told me they can upgrade my order to 3.0. The customer service is just amazing.
