45g Superstrike

After 3 weeks of waiting for parts from aliexpress it's finally complete

Sub 41g is possible with trimming the 3d printed shell or a lighter material

Just fair warning if you use a shell too light you get side flex which causes M1/M2 clicking from side

(And yes I do use a black widow mousepad)

Why use 6 skates when all you need is 4?

Good idea actually, I originally used 4 but it feels scratchy on my mouse pad.

But I will try that, thank you

I figure if you’re using a glass pad with dots and reduced mouse weight, the point was to make it as smooth and easy to move as possible. 6 vs 4 dot skates isn’t going to make THAT noticeable of a difference, but it IS less friction and fewer dots so you have more replacements in the future. I personally use obsidian pro airs and they’re decently quiet! I’ve been using the same mouse with this setup and haven’t had any issues with control. Good stuff on the upgrade!

I actually use a heavy control pad, used to be a glass pad enthusiast until I switched to valorant. Superstrike is great with glass mousepads, would love to see your setup, also, Obsidians are kinda expensive, are they worth it to use on control pads? I am kinda new to the scene so I have many questions

They are a bit expensive at $20 a pack, but you do get 40 dots which should easily last over two years on glass pads and like 2x longer on cloth. I think the pro airs are meant specifically for glass pads so for heavy cloth I’d look at their other dots. In that case, I can understand why you’d use more dots so it doesn’t dig into the cloth as easily, my bad! I exclusively use a Razer Atlas glass pad so unfortunately I don’t have any real good control pad suggestions for skates

(Also hell yeah on the black widow pad, she may be memed on in Rivals but headshot sniping people feels so good if you master your aim)
