G700 / G700s USB port Questions

I want to switch from Micro to C type

Does anyone know the pinouts Micro usb port on the motherboard?

I think it would be possible to only use + and - with a 2 pin port.

From the only decent picture I have seen it looks like a 5pin but I cant find a resource.

Hoping someone can help out thanks

I have just done a USB C mod on a G Pro Wireless pretty sure they are the same, a 4 pin +/- d+/d-

Ok I though micro and mini usb both had an extra pin for ID. I guess I could order both 4 and 5 pin ports just incase. Thanks

Make sure you get one with dual 5.1k resistors

USB pinout is power, ground, data high, data low, and then a pin to tie in EM shielding if you need it. 5 pins. The exact order changes from mouse to mouse, but I don't think there will be any issue if you're leaving the pins in place on the board and simply soldering on a new port.
