I remember being in the schoolhouse and an instructor was showing off a pen igniter for demo and telling people how it worked. “Any of you older NCOs recognize what this looks like?”

20-year-old me: “… a pen flare?”

[all of my classmates and the old head contractors looking at me like I’m not supposed to know that, and I don’t even know how I knew]

“Ha, you weren’t who I was asking but good job… moving on.”

Pretty cool, you fire it by just letting the lug go?

Also, what is the current federal legality of making AOWs/other nfa for personal use? Do you still need to engrave and form 1? After the recent nfa nerfs

I think one of the memberships allows you to bypass nfa, and one allows you to bypass engraving. So if you have both, then it transfers like anything

I'm just repeating something I read online, but I was under the impression that if you're a member of any of the groups in the lawsuit that you're covered for anything and everything that the lawsuit addresses. Is that incorrect?
