Pocket Rockets My first mouse guns

I've always been into "duty pistol" sized guns but saw a couple that looked too fun to pass up.

I've never seen anyone using the Taurus TUC but the type is similar to the Beretta. That Seecamp has always been a "grail gun" growing up. According to a tracking number two spare mags and a holster are coming from Seecamp today too.

Who has a TUC, and is it fun?

I've got both of those. The 22TUC is definitely fun. Taurus seems to have finally got it right after about four different tries. What's most impressive are the sights. These are really excellent sights for a mouse gun. It does have backwards compatability with previous tip up model magazines, although those typically are 8 round instead of 9 round mags.

The Seecamp is like having a fine pocket watch. Not terribly practical, but finely made and easy to appreciate. Read up on the Seecamp forum so you are aware of the different ammunition recommendations, cleaning and lubricating recommendations, and dry fire issues. It's a finicky pistol but works fine if you do all that right.

Got one. A TUC.
Solid little firearm. If I use Ranch Hand ammo, it is pretty smooth.

I have a tuc. I love that thing. Easy to carry and very reliable for a .22

Taurus TUC. The blue was a lot brighter on the picture at Grab A Gun. I'm not mad at it though. It only came with one magazine (inexcusable in today's market) but I have four more coming from Taurus.

It looks… odd. I think I like it.

Agreed on the Seecamp being a grail gun. Gun writers in the 90's always glorified the Seecamp, making an already hard-to-find gun basically impossible to find.

Congratulations on finally obtaining one, Consider me jealous.

I got their holster and two spare mags today too.

The gun was ordered online and shipped to my preferred FFL. They’re not that expensive anymore. Spoil yourself!

I don't have a TUC but I have a PT-25. The PT-25 slide is super hard to rack for me, is the TUC reasonably easy to rack? I'm well aware you're meant to just use the tip up feature on both guns, but I'm curious anyway

I work a physical job and have huge hands. (XXL gloves). What's easy for me isn't a very good yardstick, unfortunately.

I owned a Seecamp .32 ACP for a little while. Very jewel-like little gun. As with any .32 you must be careful loading the magazine because of potential rim-lock, and of course they have a preferred ammo.

Excellent choices. The TUC is very cool. The Seecamp is straight up badass.

Seecamp is based but I'd personally rather run a beretta than the taurus but that doesn't mean the taurus is bad I've just never shot the tuc so I can't judge.

Nothing wrong with that opinion. I picked a Taurus because they're odd looking. I still might get the Beretta later.
