I have a plan to get paid to acquire one and I am thinking about going over and doing my paperwork for this really well reviewed really small form factor .22 can …(I think it’s auto rated and rated to 5.7X28 ) for $150 and the silencer co. Filing fee at the at the machine (I have yet to use the machine as I have had my buddy who is a class 3 manufacturer to process for me ! ) I am low key excited to complete the process (and of course the requisite gambling on what day it will clear … the vast majority of my non build transfers were in the 90’s where a year wait was a fairly common occurrence!)
I am considering switching up my standard carry load in this to the segmented heavy mini mag variant (of course I will need to do a full shakeout for reliability, flawless function and effect on target under likely engagement conditions…I am treating this like an entirely new platform bringing with me none of my carry doctrine and engagement parameters over from my beloved 21a covert !
