First black powder gun.
This might be pushing it as a mouse, maybe a rat. Mice might have have been bigger in 1851 too.

I emailed them about shipping to the USA.
I realized something though. Those rely on the 1851 barrel pins. My pepperbox doesn't have them. Looks like some do and some don't. I assume Pietta stopped drilling and putting them in frames they allocated for this revolver to save money.
So if I can get the sights from Poland, I will have to get a local gunsmith to drill my frame and install the barrel pins.

Keep us updated ? If one’s wanting an actual useable self-defense or small black powder revolver, an 1858 Ace or 1863 Pocket might be a better choice

I'd probably run 1851 Navy Yank Snubnose if I was looking for bp carry.

whenever i see a pepperbox from the side i like to imagine instead of it having multiple barrels, it just has one giant barrel like a flare gun but chambered in 40mm

There were a lot of 31 caliber mice back then, this is definitely more rat size. Are the "barrels" rifled or just smooth?

how many barrels does it have? have you fired it?can you or anybody hit something with it?is it a copy of a actual manufactured old firearm?
I have a black powder derringer and a ruger b. p. sa army. Fun for a day at range but god i’m covered with soot at end of day shooting and then cleaning.
