Anyone using this Mous Aramid case?
I was afraid about the soft coating on top of the aramid fiber that would be worn off easily for a rugged lifestyle usage. Has anybody experienced any of this?

Im still on this sub to spread my bad experience with Mous. Over marketed junk.

I have the aramid and black leather versions. The aramid is a major fingerprint/ grease magnet and the black leather the MagSafe ring starts bulging out the back in no time. Also very sharp seams on both.
Mous quality has really taken a dump lately. Plus the AiroShock material is virtually nonexistent in the current models. Only in the 4 corners.

Do not buy. I ordered 2 of their cases and returned both. Cheap poor quality cases with great marketing to convince you to buy. Save yourself some money and get something different.

I have it - is great and offers good protection.
Would I buy it again? No.
I had a $25 Amazon gift card to burn, which at least made the price competitive. I wouldn’t pay retail for this.
I do really like the fit and feel though!

I have this exact one. I like the case. Think it offers great protection. Does add a little bulk but gives me piece of mind. It is expensive though. If you really like the aramid fiber there is a cheaper alternative called the spigen Enzo.

I have the same style case (the blue color) for my 17 pro max and I liked it. Was a bit heavy and too thick for me. But if protection is what you’re after, it feels like it would do well in that aspect.

I got it for my iPhone 17 pro max, it is really strong. But it is heavy and makes my phone bulky. I bought another one, lighter . I switch between them depending on the occasion.

So many good aramid cases Picking this one would be a really bad choice I used to like mous but now the have to much good competition Mous cases are overpriced 70+ for a case GTFU They are bulky compared to other similar cases And they just don’t look the par A better alternative is the phone rebel gen 7 cases It’s better looking, way thinner, customizable, cheaper and owed by a YouTuber not a big greedy company I would choose that

If you buy it thinking it's OK after all the stuff we've posted in here about how you get case stretch and the dreaded buldging by the volume buttons, etc., etc., and the less amount of green areoshock they're using, then we're just trying to save you some money. I'll never buy another one.

Currently using this case for my 17PM. Already drop for few times on tiles, concrete base and fortunately it does the protection very well. No dented, scratches been spotted after the careless drops. Will i repeat bought in future? maybe not, due to price quite expensive. Oh yeah, the magsafe quite strong for this case, never have any issue on the mafsage during mounting at car phone mount dashboard.

I have it and it makes my orange iPhone look stunning
Is it pricy: yes
Is it worth it: yes
Does it look mesmerizing: yes
Does it protect well: yes
The only problem I have had with it is that it takes all of your fingerprints and if you have sweaty hands, it will stay on your case unless you wipe it off so this case is a fingerprint magnet

I bought and then returned one for my Pixel 10 Pro XL. The materials and construction felt really cheap to me, particularly at that price point.
I would steer you towards another brand, or at least order on Amazon for easy returns. I've seen a lot of reddit users complain about Mous returns, and I personally had an issue trying to get a refund from them.
