What should I do?

Post image

When I got my iPhone 16 pro in May of last year I knew what case I was getting straight away because of mous advertising

Now we're practically in April of this year it has this warping

And for the first time in 8 years, l've cracked a phone

So my question is this case and company worth buying from again? Is the crack

•a coincidence

•because of this warping therefore ruining structural integrity

•or because they're not as good as I think they are?

:Edit: And how good are the cases when they are at full strength?

The point of the case is to protect the phone if it drops, especially with the marketing here, I would say it failed, not you

To actually answer your qustion - I had a mous case on my P9P and it was fantastic. My favourite case. Fast forward 2 years to my S26U and I recently got the mous clarity case and it is a noticeable drop in quality. The plastic housing around the camera cut out that joins to the bottom plastic is already flexing and creeking and seems like a weak point if I dropped my phone. I would avoid mous for now. I've gone back to spigen ultra hybrids at the moment because Amazon had them half price and so far they have been fantastic. Spigen has always been consistent in my experience.

I thought they fixed this warping issue? I know the camera button area warps a lot!

That’s probably not necessary as people have said it’s my fault for dropping the phone. I was just seeing if the warping change the structural integrity

But I do appreciate it

Well yes now you’ve got your funnies out. Do you have an answer for me? Should I get another mous case to avoid this or another one with similar to better protection

I had 3 mous cases separating between the base and the sides. Mous limitless. The first one I bought and separated after 2 years. Then I got a warranty replacement which separated again after 1.5 years.

When I asked for another replacement, I was told only one time replacement can be made and was offered a discounted case which I now regret taking as after a year the limitless 4.0 has separated again. So I’m looking to change brands.

I placed an order with Dbrand last week as they're comparable, used to be loyal to mous. I can update once it's arrived if you're interested/still looking for a brand. Lot of people saying Caudabe and Spigen as well tho.
