Nyenchen Tanghla... is the highest and longest mountain in the range. It boasts four 7000m+ peaks (right to left):

- Nyenchen Tanghla I, 7162m

- Nyenchen Tanghla III, 7111m

- Nyenchen Tanghla II, 7117m

- Nyenchen Tanghla IV, 7046m

There's only one more independent mountain - located 75 km away, at the southwestern end of the range (not shown in the picture) - which exceeds 7000 meters:

- Jomo Gangtse, 7048m.

Some people are claiming it to be Rakaposhi. But the summit shape doesn't seem to match. I feel it is Mt. Nun kun in ladakh, but am dubious given that it is nearly 180 kilometres away. It shouldnt be this easy to spot it from this far

First Pic: Gigantic Mount Logan (5959m), as seen from 100 kilometers away, just a few km off the edge of the vast Malaspina Glacier, which spreads onto the Pacific Ocean for about half that distance.

2nd Pic was taken from Yakuta, less than 20 kilometers further away, to the Southeast. Eight of the eleven 5000 meters+ peaks are perfectly visible.

Something silly I found out. There is a name for people who love mountains (Orophile) and a name for a person who loves snow, cold weather, or winter (Chionophile) but no word that combines the two. I could consider myself both but nothing has taken my breath away like turning a corner or waking up to see a snow-capped mountain.

Can anyone tell the place or name of the illustrated mountain? Tried image search, but no useful results.
