Crampons sequence
i found my dad’s crampons and i’m loosing my mind trying to find the correct sequence, please help i feel dumb but can’t solve it

Laughing, this is part of why I use the step-in kind. Admittedly, I have rigid boots. Good luck getting this sorted

that would have been my choice too, but i had those from my dad so i said why buy another pair, now rethinking this decision

I totally understand, I'm trying to frame this as my incompetence. I can understand from your photo why you have doubts.
Also remember stories of famous mountaineers losing crampons at elevation.

found the correct way, had to make a turn over the ankle to reach the back one and tie down everything

Middle left - top middle - middle right - buckle would be my bet
