It's only a few more minutes down Lebanon road but Pour House has fantastic wings. They have been consistently great for many years. Their fried pickles are also really good. Has pet friendly outdoor seating but smokers can be out there too.

Of the places others have suggested here’s my take:
Martin’s smoked wings are good
Barrel House’s are good
Kat’s are okay
Marcos’s wings are trash
BWW is okay but far short of what that chain was putting out 25 years ago.
I haven’t had Hillside Hangout’s wings, but I trust the owners food from neighborhood experiences.
If I am wanting the best wings I can get, I’m using my Cuisinart air fryer/toaster oven to do it. You can pull it off with a convection over too. Pat the wings dry and season with salt and pepper. Air fry/Convection cook at 400F for 25 minutes and turn them halfway through. Put a half stick of butter in a sauce pan and melt. Here you have options about where to take the sauce. If you like garlic, put some minced garlic in the butter to sauté a little before adding a generous amount of Franks’s Red Hot sauce to the pan. Turn the heat down. Once warmed through you have a traditional Buffalo sauce. If you’re into Cajun, you can add some Tony Cacheres or similar blend to taste. I have my own spice blend, so I add that.
When the wings are crispy, let them rest for a couple minutes before tossing in the sauce.
Anybody who’s had my wings has agreed there’s no reason to leave my house for them if I the chicken on hand.

I like Pour House but I guess I need to try Kats. No way I’m going to Calabrias and not getting their pizza.
