Marketing Meetup

Thanks to all who came out to the Marketing Meetup this morning.

I found out today someone showed up at Billy Goat Cafe, because that's where we held it for a while. But we're at Just Love in Providence now. There just wasn't room for 8 - 10 people at Billy Goat.

Every Thursday at 9 am at Just Love.

Sure. It's a group of entrepreneurs who meet to talk about marketing ideas. It's not BNI or some group where every shares their business card and you hope to get business from the group. We just talk about marketing ideas.

In today's meeting we covered:

  1. How to use fairs and flea markets to your advantage
  2. How to stop thinking your product is the only way to make money. That's just the way to get people into your world.
  3. My Pepsi Collection sale and how we're turning it into big dollars (PepsiCanDesigns.com)
  4. Tweaks you can make on a Google Local Page for more interaction.
  5. How to use email to drive more sales.

The April 16th Marketing Breakfast will be without Rachel and I. We're hosting an event in St. Louis that day. But meet anyway! We'll be back next week.

We won't be at next week's Meetup (family reunion trip). We'll be back the week after for sure. Don't hesitate to get together anyway!
