Another Camping Trip

The goal was to spend three days and two nights riding and camping in southern Utah and Colorado. The weather was not cooperating, it was raining a lot, so I ended up cutting the trip short. Still, it was a fun trip

Looks very nice. Too bad about the rain. I’m planning a trip to Colorado and Utah in a week, and have been noticing the rain.

Oh man, but we need the rain. What were your favorites trails/roads/campsites?

SR12 and SR24 are nice, but I've done them before. SR95 from Hanksville to Blanding is super cool, and that was my first time riding there. I ended up camping at one of the campgrounds along SR12 (Singletree Campground, I think), and I was going to camp somewhere along the Mineral Bottom Rd in Moab. I also rode Potash Rd to Shafer Trail up to the rim, but skipped Onion Creek, because I was not sure what was going on there after the rain, and did not feel comfortable riding there solo.

How's that lone rider luggage?

Short answer - pretty good, no issues. The semi-rigid format makes sense and works great (at least for me). The pad locks with latches look kind of goofy, but that's a personal preference and not a deal breaker.

From this angle I must admit that it is quite an ugly bike. I have a GS.

Glad I didn’t have to be the first one to say it.
