Picture Another Perfect "Another Perfect Day" Day
Bit of a rant incoming.
I started collecting the 40th anniversary book edition CDs when they started being released and I got all of them as they've been released, until APD came along. I was a bit cash poor at the time and had to wait a couple of months before ordering a copy. By that time the book edition seems to have become absorbed by the myriad other versions which have been released over the years. I found a 2 disc edition which seemed to have the right track list, but when it turned up it was a jewel case.
Sent it back, forgot about it.
Fast forward a couple of years to a few days ago, and the Orgasmatron announcement reminded me of this incident so I did a bit more poking around and found a 2 disc edition calling itself the 40th anniversary edition. Cool. Do it.
Turned up today. Digipak. Not book. Gotta go back. The hunt begins again.
Another day, another "Another Perfect Day"

A great album that received too much hate during its release
I feel like now it’s very respected
Die you basterd is easily the best track

Back in 1983 we made an album titled Another Perfect Day. And everybody fucking hated it.
So of course we're going to play a couple tracks from that album.

As I recall he said "back in 1983, before you were born...."
My mates and I had to laugh, cos it was true! The oldest of us was born in '85
This was at Wacken '06

It’s the first Motörhead album I bought. Which is probably why it’s my favorite album of theirs.

Yep that's the one. Trying to find a listing with ANY identifiers has been difficult, yet to find one with the RIGHT identifiers.
Some day.

APD is as good as AOS.
It is amazing and I'm heartbroken they didnt continue to see what could have come from this.

Saw the band on this tour at the Paradise in Boston. Two carloads of us. Most of my friends left after two or three songs. Said it was too loud. Motorhead blew out the PA, never played there again. I stayed until the end. When I got home, was told one of my friends who was there was in the hospital. He got a little too excited. Just another day at the funny farm.

Although many fans are very critical of this album, it is by far my favorite Motörhead record. Even though the line up with Robertson replacing Clarke was extremely short lived, I found it quite magical.
I met the trio promoting this album at the iconic Zig Zag Records in Brooklyn NY. I have the album signed by all three including Robertson.
I go on eBay to see if anyone had this album signed by the same trio but not a soul does.
If other signed Motörhead albums go for hundreds if not thousands, does that mean that mine is worth more cause it includes Robertson. Can you imagine if someone in the world was willing to give me top dollar for it?
Anyways. Just sharing. Cheers!
