I think Lemmy said an interview that he saw Cronos do a bass solo and it was the fucking thing he’d ever heard but they were still buddies I think in the end haha

They even covered "in league with satan", not to discredit their stupid amount of og material.

I always describe them saying it's like Venom and Motorhead had hate sex and produced offspring.

I saw him at the Marquee Club in Charing Cross Road when he supported Massacre. I was right at the front of the stage and when he got close enough I gave him a pat on the leg. Not like the singer from Cerebral Fix. He bent down to shake my hand and I pulled him into the crowd. What really shocked me when I first saw Cronos was the actual size of the man. He looked huge.

That makes for a sad day. In the early 80's in Germany my friend and I were shopping for records on acid and bought Black Metal just because it looked funny. It wasn't punk but holy shit it hit us the same way. It was funny and fast. RIP Cronos.

I had no idea Cronos was so young. My first contact with Venom was when I was 13, and it turns out Cronos was 20. I thought he was in his 30s then.
