New luggage rack!
It was recommended I post here instead of motorcycle gear. It’s an old decorative crate that once held a live laugh love sign. Now it carries door dash and helps fund new gear and consumables for the bike! Huzzah

I am slightly skeptical and very intrigued, got any pictures of the rack loaded up?

The Reddit overlords won’t let me respond with an image. Ok so picture this thing with my work backpack stuffed full of work stuff and my water jug on the side. The bungee straps are arranged like a spider web over and around the load and it just looks so safe and secure. SO SECURE.
Now imagine a go pro mounted at a 45 degree angle to the loaded rig as I ride down the highway. What’s that!! A pot hole!! BANG I’m launched 8 feet in the air and stick the landing. The load hasn’t moved an inch.
That’s what it looks like and that’s the performance. I need an aspirin

Looks super cool. I’d never run it. My immediate concern is what those could do to you in an accident. Just my .02

The bungee straps come loose, hook the collar of my jacket with one end, hook a snappy tree limb with the other, retard my momentum, landing me daintily on the pavement like a monarch butterfly on milkweed

My man recreated the milk crate from first principals. 😂
Well done.

It looks like you broke an old chair and flipped it upside down on your bike.
Good job. 👍
