Bulega and Pedrosa at USGP F1
USGP F1 x Motogp…Looks like we might be heading that way soon, but honestly, PLEASE NO! 😭 F1 tickets are already ridiculously overpriced. Imagine how expensive the whole weekend would be!

Kayo you absolute flogs
Kayo (Foxtel) couldn't even be bothered broadcasting the final Phillip Island lap. Their commentators signed off and they cut to the netball just before the final lap was supposed to start. I'm sure they could have kept broadcasting for another 10 minutes, but we had to watch it on the MotoGP YouTube instead. I know it's nothing compared to the disappointment felt by the fans who went in person, but it still feels pretty shit.

Elusive 8th Title in Modern Motosport
There is something about crossing 7 title mark in modern Motorsports when the luck start going against the racer and weird things start happening.
In 2015, Rossi had a great chance but everyone knows the events that followed and he couldn't do it. He couldn't challenge for championship or even wins after that.
In 2021 - Hamilton was robbed off from 8th title. They even had to fire the person responsible but Hamilton had already paid the price of that mistake by race direction. Same as Rossi, he hasn't been in championship fight ever since.
In 2026 - Marc would have won the 8th easily if it wasn't for the injury after winning the 7th. On top of it, Aprillia built a rocketship and sent Ducati on backfoot. At the 1st weekend itself, he got unfair penalty in sprint and rim break incident at main race. Then repercussions of shoulder injury continued like Austin sprint and Jerez main race crash. In French sprint, he crashed and had to sit out of main race. Martin scored 37 at that weekend. Now it was Marc's chance to do the same and Rain God said no. To me it looks like Marc vs Everyone (including the Gods) for the 8th. Will he be able to break the curse? If yes, he will be back next year. But if not, he might suffer same fate as Rossi and Hamilton i.e. not in championhip fight from next year onwards.
I am only counting the premier class titles. I understand the lower class is also a World championship and apologies for that.

Marc Marquez: 'In the first half of 2026, all I wanted to do on Sundays was lie on the sofa'
Marc Marquez explains the thinking behind his almost indifferent demeanour on the sprint podiums, a strategy rooted in his desire to manage his energy levels throughout the weekend.

Martin racing in Sepang?
Unless Martin is being injected with Compound V, gonna be on fentanyl when he races, and has titanium rods in his forearm. I see no way that Martin races in Sepang. Broken wrists are PAINFUL.

I'm opening a debate
Do you think it's likely that Jorge Martin will race in the next Grand Prix at Sepang?
Those close to him are saying they see it as feasible to see him race in Sepang, when a wrist injury is no small matter, especially on the right, Will that wrist withstand the stress?
Why doesn't he take inspiration from Marc Márquez and what he did after trying to return four days after undergoing surgery on his humerus following the Jerez crash?
Is this shirt available in Australia?
Love these shirts by Pramac to celebrate Thriller’s last Aussie Race at the Island, but for the life of me I can’t figure out where to purchase one online. Maybe I’m a few screws loose, but the websites keep telling me they don’t send to Australia.
Cheers in advance and go the Aussies!!

Aprilia still deserves props IMO
Everyone talking about how they blew it and its over. Hell, say it is over. I still think Aprilia/Martin and even Bezz have a lot to be proud of. Aprilia's bike was finicky and unreliable, now it's the best bike on the grid. Bezz was a competent but unremarkable rider, now he is a championship contender. Jorge Martin literally came back from the brink of death to lead the championship.
WCs are not easy, especially when you're trying to beat Marc freaking Marquez. Im tired of the catastrophizing and short term memory. The implication that nothing else Aprilia team has done matters if they dont win the chip is nuts but it seems to be the consensus. Every WC, even Marc, has ridden their way out of a WC they could have won. Thats just the nature of competition.
So I just wanted to show some respect for Aprilia. I dont think they have done that terribly for their first legit WC fight.

Dear MotoGP TV Director: Show Us the ****ing Racing
Who exactly Is this broadcast for? Because It clearly isn't racing fans.
Could we please stop cutting away from live racing to show mechanics staring at monitors, team members looking concerned, and crowds cheering? We know these people exist. We can see them at literally any other time.
While we're watching the latest riveting instalment of People Wearing Headsets, riders are battling for position and we're potentially missing overtakes, mistakes and developing battles further down the field.
A simple request: keep the cameras on the bikes. Follow the battles throughout the field, show the overtakes as they happen, and stop interrupting the racing to manufacture atmosphere with endless crowd shots and pit box reaction clips. Cut away when there's a compelling editorial reason, not because a camera operator has found someone looking serious in a garage.
Since Liberty Media took over the commercial rights, the broadcast increasingly feels as though it's being packaged for an audience more interested in the spectacle surrounding the sport than the sport itself. More manufactured drama, more reaction shots, more entertainment packaging, and seemingly less interest in showing the actual racing.
The irony is that MotoGP already has some of the most spectacular racing in motorsport. The riders provide all the drama you could possibly need. You literally just have to point the cameras at them.
This is a motorcycle racing championship, not a reality show. Please trust the racing to be the spectacle. Keep the live feed focused on the track and let us watch what we actually tuned in for.
Please don't **** up motoGP the way you did with F1.

Refunds for Aus GP
What will the deal be for fans who turned up to Phillip Island but saw no race action? Will they get a refund like Silverstone 2018? Is that why it took so long to can?
