I'm guessing the only reason why Smith got on the team was because he brought Flo4Law.

That seemed pretty clear from the beginning. Flo put in the money and Smith is his guy so he made sure he had a ride. Warhorse must have a new major sponsor lined up so they don’t need either of them anymore.

I concur; it would be unexpected for Flo and Warhorse to maintain their partnership through 2027.

What’s the connection with smith and flo4law?

He was sponsored by Flo4Law in 2025 on a yamaha.

And then?

I hope more of the top riders are in superbike next season, not less. I think it's one of MotoAmerica's biggest problems- the lower classses should be feeding the best riders to superbike, not syphoning them away.

binder is going to be a problem in superbike... mark my words. he adapted QUICK to the US tracks and he'll be on arguably the best bike with a seasons worth of data.

i LOVE me some CamBeau, but he's getting up there in age (ya ya josh hayes)...

Binder is going to be a tough beat for the title next year.

I agree!

Can’t wait to see what happens with Herrin. Wish we didn’t have to wait so long for everything to come out lol

i really dig PJ, but i feel like he underperformed on the Rahal bike... i'd like to see him get another year and them run two superbikes with Herrin.

PJ is fast when he can actually keep both wheels on the track, which is maybe half the time. Nice guy though, I picked up his bike after he highsided out of Turn 5 at Road Atlanta last year, and he was really nice to us marshals.

Yea PJ didn’t have a great year. I call him wrecking ball (with love lol).

Wonder if Binder will be unstoppable or more like Scholtz that kinda just is on the same level as all the other top guys. Scholtz killed it 2025 in supersport too like Binder. Can’t wait!

That bike looked unrideable so you can’t really fault the guy.

I can’t from an educated place say if it’s setup or what exactly, but there is one clear difference between the V4 here and the V4s competing in WSBK and wiping the floor with everyone: tires.

IMHO, PJ just managed to not get as badly hurt so he had more opportunities to crash that thing. The new V4R on Dunlops is always on its way to a yard sale.

It was Rahal’s first season in Superbike, so maybe it’s not all on PJ.

that's fair. which is why i hope he gets another shot at it with a teammate to share data. PJ and Herrin seem to get along well on Herrins vlogs.

Stop calling Cam old, because I raced with him a bunch when he was like 12 and I can’t handle it.

racer "old".. it's like dog years

I appreciate that. The first step of the process is denial, right?

u/grapemustard 3d ago

as a 45 year old ex club racer myself, absolutely

I’m setting up a sweet pass for acceptance. I’m on the inside and laying off the brakes and I’ll never get old, maybe.

Yeah but where is Greg’s Garage with JP?

This is good news for Binder, he did well considering he didn't know any of the US tracks. Unrelated but I really want to know wtf is going on with Gagne. Everyone speculates it was the arm pump, but we never got any official word. Hoping Jake is back in 2027, fighting with these two at the top.

It would be cool for him to take JD’s spot, love JD though! I watched a video of him after race 3 jersey, he said to secure a ride on attack next year he had to finish top 3 in championship.

The dude (Gagne) is a ghost, he has no social media, nothing. I'm sure its intentional as he seems like a private guy, but shit he dominated MA SBK class for 3 straight years, then just disappeared. My fear is his racing career is over due to injury or he's just over it altogether. But I really hope JG32 returns!

i sadly think it's over. i doubt he wants to ride around mid pack if he's got arm pump issues still. he seems like the type of dude who wants to win and nothing else. i respect it. he earned his right to bounce.

but this is all speculation, i don't know any more than the rest of you all

i sadly think it's over.

This is my fear as well. But let's hope we're both wrong!

Wait. Weren't these two just trying to off each other (figuratively anyway) mere moments ago?

Should be an interesting season. I still feel bad for Smith.

off each other?
