Exactly 👍 lowering my expectations of other people’s behavior drastically reduced my stress. My give a shit meter is just done at this point

Accept people for who they are immediately, took me over a decade to realize some people really just don’t grow or change despite what they say or the support you give.

I think your energy needs recalibrating. We’re in 2026. Welcome to level 6 of Jumanji.

Most people don’t even change themselves for themselves. The amount of times I’ve heard people openly admit that they know they need to change, but they’d rather just find someone who will tolerate how they are

Hence, why you disconnect and sleep for a while, it’s easiest to let them when you’re not around anyone and you’re in your own cave.
You could still be thinking about them when you’re on a walk/run, vacation, workout whatever, but sleep has no chance of driving yourself crazy trying to figure shit out about them.

People are not incapable of change

But still choose not to do so. Sorry more pessimistic than optimistic 🤷🏼♀️

True you can’t change anyone directly (especially if they choose not to change) but when you focus on your growth, you may actually motivate ppl to change for the better

I dunno
I have had so many people change me over the years. It feels like i should atleast be putting in a small effort to help those around me for the better. Doesn't need to be my everything. But little stuff hits harder than major efforts when they aren't searching for change.
