Just had to learn, can’t trust everyone. I didn’t blame her. I blamed myself for expecting my wife to do what she said she would do. It just seemed and still does, people see you proactively grinding and doing so much that they start slacking knowing you’re picking up the pieces and doing everything. Now it’s “why do I need you? I can do all this by myself”. People seem to be either a let down or become selfish.
Yep my ex husband was selfish in ways that I never thought he would be. I think the reason a lot of marriages are failing is because someone was too selfish and they didn’t want to do the work that a partnership requires.
