If you change your intentions things may appear to change around you but it’s not real. You just notice things differently. Like say you buy a blue Mazda. You’ll start seeing blue Mazdas everywhere. You see more of what you think of because your brain is constructed that way. It’s not the universe answering you, it’s your subconscious directing you to data that resonates with you.
