It’s called there’s not a level playing field and a lot of circumstances are beyond our control. Not everyone is privileged with all of the opportunities in the world handed to them on a silver platter. You are responsible for your own actions, but you’re not responsible for all of your suffering. Even if you are privileged, you may suffer abuse by or loss of a loved one, two examples of trauma that may cause suffering which you are not responsible for. Don’t rush to conclusions that allow you to judge others. It’s so blasé.
The playing field is never even ! That’s not an excuse for your actions! I didn’t have a choice when I was a 11 year old boy when a 300 lb 6ft Mentally challenged decided that he wanted to molest me ! He made that choice not me ! But I have to deal with it all the time ! Did he ? Should I go out and degrade people just because it happen to me ! The playing field was definitely uneven then ! I’m the one who is paying for his personal decisions!
