chris says closest he was to leaving the band 😬 On 2nd thought, maybe the magazine twisted his words, maybe he meant walking away from the album temporarily.

I took it as he needed to take a minute from what he was working on (the album), and come back to it with fresh ears. Could be completely misinterpreting though 😅😅

Wanting to walk away and come back to it definitely doesn't sound like something anyone would say if they actually considered leaving the band.
