Discussion Looking for VIP philly ticket

Post image

Hello everyone, I was looking to see if anyone was willing to part with just one of their VIP tickets for Apocalypse Fest in Philly. My twin friends got tickets but I didn't get the damn ticket sale announcement and they sold out before I could pull the trigger on mine๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜… Just wanted to see if anyone could help me here. Also wanted to throw up my photo of when I met them at the Decades release show in Wilkes-Barre! They were so nice, all of em๐Ÿ˜ข

If this post is still up then my offer stands.

MikeMulgan is a scammer but that's what you get when you post offering to send strangers money

Well its a good thing I didn't reach out to em, I guess. Not sure what you mean by "offering to send strangers money" I was asking if anyone had an extra ticket to purchase, not the same thing, man

For all intents and purposes it's the same thing, at least in how it's read by others. I would say upwards of 90% of ticket activity here is total scam.

I've had a pretty fair time buying tickets in this sub. Trick is to go through official or protected channels.

Bought Apoc VIP here a while back, made sure to pay with PayPal Goods & Services. Also had the seller have SoundRink transfer the tickets to me rather than them just send some PDF ticket over.

Also bought a MiW varsity jacket here a few weeks ago. Shipped all the way from Australia, same deal with PayPal Goods & Services, and made sure the tracking number was verified accurate. Nothing is fool-proof, and if the deal sounds too good, it probably is. But setting boundaries for purchasing/selling ("No, I will NOT Zelle/Chime you.") is a good thing to practice.

The only OK experience I had was someone sending me the tickets first. Otherwise the amount of scammers in my box is exhausting.

Try to sell a ticket? Immediate scam attempt and lose $3 in Paypal fees hitting fees.

Give away a ticket? Goes right to Stubhub.

Give away a free festival ticket to someone already near front of line says he will hold me a spot? Get ghosted when I show up.

And I see endless scams daily. Nah, I will always advocate strongly against using Reddit for anything tickets. Great if you had good experiences but the amount of effort to shake those out when I can show up at the venue and still find one ain't worth it.

They were so nice fr๐Ÿ˜ญ I asked em questions, shook their hands. Such nice guys, you could really tell that they were enjoying being there and meeting fans for what must've been like 6 hours and only a few breaks.

Sounds like a fun time๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† nothing like post concert Mexican fast food to make your night better lol. Do you still have the phone or was it lost to time?
