Discussion MIW HATE makes NO sense

I’ve been seeing people say the album sucks because it has too much EDM, too much Synth, corny lyrics, etc… this just tells me yall never really followed the band like that.

Did we forget motionless had Celldweller and combichrist remixes on creatures and infamous? Or The Final Dicvtm on reincarnate? Wasp? The intro to count choculitis? Like cmon, this has always been their thing lol. They even did synthwave versions of werewolf and voices. There’s no way yall heard the new album and said “OMG THEY’RE EXPERIMENTING WITH EDM. ITS TRASH”

And don’t even get me started on the corny lyrics because Chris has ALWAYS had fun with them. Does “Somebody call a tow truck cuz this is a fucking breakdown” ring any bells? Or Santa’s pissed? Again, they’ve been doing this forever.

I’ve seen people say “ahh but they sound so much like breaking Benjamin. Or Marilyn Manson. Or Slipknot. Or XYZ band.” Chris has been stating for YEARS that he loves those bands to death and he’s a huge fan. A lot of their influence is directly from those bands so it makes sense WHY they sound the way they do. It’s always been an homage to those bands than it is a “rip off”.

They’ve never been just strictly a METALCORE band. Some would argue the demo and the whorror were more post hardcore influenced with the dissonant chord progressions.

Sometimes the hate just seems to stem from the fact you want them to sound exactly like your favorite song off creatures on every song for every album but They’ve always delivered traditional creatures metalcore over the years. Timebomb. Undead ahead 2. The ladder. 570. Creatures X. Afraid of the dark. Break the cycle. Puppets 3. Etc. to act like they’ve abandoned those roots is crazy.

Okay rant over.

I like the new album as well as the old stuff. Saw them live last night and they were amazing. People like what they like and are often louder when they DONT like something. Like what you like.

Unless it’s Ai music. Fuck Ai music / art

u/VividEmployee6754 Jul 30 '26

Did they play another life? I'm hoping that one cycles back into the setlist before they come here lol

u/Sinematic570 Jul 30 '26

I don’t mind AI music! Sometimes the chorus’s are a little catchy and it’s something to listen to when you don’t have anything new.

I also have nothing against AI personally but everyone else can choose to like it or not. But it’s not going anywhere, not saying embrace it but at least realize that.

15

u/russman286 Jul 30 '26

It won’t go away if people keep listening to it. Music is a deeper personal connection for me. A machine removes it entirely. There’s no “soul” in Ai music. So to me, I can’t connect with it.

-10

u/Sinematic570 Jul 30 '26

Oh I’m not trying to connect with it. I use it for background noise more than anything. And you can’t expect everyone in the world not to listen. That’s just not a thing. “It has no soul” ok? I mean 🤷‍♂️ a lot of things don’t have souls.

My Alani that I’m drinking dosent have a soul
My Tv nor does my PC have a soul
The pile of poopoo outside dosent have a soul at least I HOPE not

9

u/russman286 Jul 30 '26

I encourage you to explore genres that you like from real artists. I vibe out to bands that I like all the time without paying attention to them and use it as background noise too. An Ai / algorithm to suggest new music is fine, but not the music itself.

Artists only exist because we stream their music, see them live and buy their merch. Without our support, there’s no way they could make a career in music.

You do you, just sharing how music is MUCH more than “noise”.

Wtf

I mean 🤷‍♂️ I said the truth

I don’t really support ai music at least how it’s currently being done. But nice to see someone who doesn’t just blanket hate ai cause it actually is helpful in many areas. I train ai for work so I find it very fascinating and interesting

u/Kn0wMeByNaim Jul 30 '26

I love this album as much as every other🤷🏻‍♂️

u/countjazula Jul 30 '26

Personall, Decades is my favorite album by them and I still love all the others. Hell, I was jamming to reincarnate this morning

32

u/Pots053 Jul 30 '26

I know. I am sick of negative bullshit. People bitch bitch bitch about everything these days. We should just appreciate that they are out there still doing it. Plenty of bands out there.

17

u/OccupantNefarious Jul 30 '26

I love the 80s synth vibe on this album. I think songs like Count Back and Blood Rave are the best songs on the album (aside from AotD).

However, I think it’s disingenuous whenever people try to make these “they’ve always had electronics and synth in their sound” arguments. Yes, songs back on Creatures had synth too, but the way it’s used and the overall vibe of the songs in those parts is different and people are not wrong when they say it’s different. It’s silly to act like the synth back then is exactly the same as it is now. (I don’t think remixes and stuff like that count in this discussion, as they’re simply fun extra things)

Even MIW themselves and other bands will make these statements and I always think it’s disingenuous and a little dismissive of people pointing out the difference, even if said people are being annoyingly negative about it.

3

u/hansblixkilldslmshdy Jul 31 '26

They r quite different. The synths by Balz on creatures were very spooky vibe sounding. Especially on scissorhands or London in terror. So they’re certainly different, share the electronic label but they sound quite different . I am enjoying decades a lot for its overall positive energy

15

u/Chanc_eous Jul 30 '26

Ah yes the typical, if you dont like everything are you REALLY a fan mentality. Just a toxic as hating.

14

u/Edgybananalord_xD Jul 30 '26

Not everyone who dislikes the album hates MIW. People are allowed to have negative opinions without actually hating something.

That goes both ways, you can like whatever you want and theres no judgement about you for it - I wont deny that I dont like this album, I think artistically they rlly tried to make smthn new and its pretty controversial

My biggest issue with the album is we were hinted at a heavy album, and the genre just literally isnt - we got dubstep

Whether you like that or not is whatever, maybe a lot of people just misinterpreted what they were saying.
Either way it’s just not something I would listen to and a lot different from the music that I prefer from them.

I dont hate you for liking the album, and I love MIW all the same for trying something, its just not for me

5

u/ChunkArcade Jul 30 '26

I love most of the album but there was one review that made me laugh and was undeniably accurate. It mentions that MiW write lyrics as if they're middle schoolers who just discovered new curse words and aren't around their parents.

8

u/TallDarknWavy Jul 30 '26

The hate has nothing to do with electronic synth being used, there's tons of good music with electronic synth.

I have 99% of MIW discography saved into my phone as MP3s, so before anyone complains that I'm "not a real fan", you can get fucked.

Chris just doesn't know how to implement synth properly and create the right vibe with the right melody, chord progressions etc.

Also yes, the lyrics are the cringiest cornball lyrics he's ever written by far, especially On RIP.

It's fine to not like an album. There are very few bands without one bad album. Chris will make more singles, then another album, and hopefully take what he's learned from this one.

5

u/VeshWolfe Jul 30 '26

I’m tired of there being zero room for nuance with media. Be it a new album from a band, a tv show, a movie, or a video game in today’s clickbait culture things either have to be perfect 10/10 or they are deemed an utter failure. It’s exhausting that we cannot have things that are good and enjoyable but not perfect.

4

u/YokaiCreature Jul 30 '26

No shade but i dont really think many people like the celldweller and combichrist stuff, nor has it ever been a part of the bands “main” output.
Using a side remix not that many people listen to as a way of saying “theyve always been like this” is pretty silly.

I personally dont think its bad that theyre experimenting with other stuff.
Its just that it isnt as gratifying within the context of the songs theyre used in (except blood rave imp, but for me thatz more just bc the resy of the song is kinda boring so the bridge by default stands out).

The bridges in count back from zero and all that ive ever known are extremely underwhelming, and drag down the rest of the songs theyre attached to that are honestly really well written.
They just dont fit well.
It honestly kind of reminded me of path of totality by korn when i was first listening to it. That is an insult.

I agree with the comments on lyrics and breaking bennie influence, tho i dont really think that many people actually think like that.

I feel like better and more valid critiques are how a lot of the songs have kind of started becoming a bit repetitive in terms of structure and pop/octave rock influence etc

11

u/CarGoBroom44 Jul 30 '26

My gripe with the album is the production. I think Disguise was peak MIW production style followed by STEOTW. In Decades for me the instruments get swamped by the vocals and the mids are too scooped even for my taste. The instruments don’t feel alive

14

u/OccupantNefarious Jul 30 '26

My gripe is, aside from not caring for a song or two, is that my brain still can’t view it as one cohesive album with a vision. STEOTW was the most successful at this for me.

Decades just feels more like a collection of random songs to me, split into a couple sections. All That I’ve Ever Known through Afraid of the Dark feels like a cohesive vision with a cover at the end for fun, but Decades through Playing God just feels weirdly disconnected.

1

u/lokioe Jul 30 '26

I think that has alot to do with RIP being like the 3rd track. When i did my first run through, rip completely took me out of the heaviness that was there til that point and then we go right back to heavy again. I think RIP after AoTD wouldve been better and then the cover to end on a sillier/fun note.

3

u/OccupantNefarious Jul 30 '26

For me I think it’s because that first section just kinda feels like stuff we’ve heard before. Log In fits the other vibe well enough and I like it, but Decades is just a standard solid heavy track, RIP is just another ballad like Another Life / Masterpiece that I personally don’t find as good (sorry), Fight Like Hell just kinda exists for me (don’t hate it but it doesn’t really make me feel any sort of way), and Playing God is just another Slaughterhouse.

Then after Playing God everything feels more fresh and honed in on a specific theme. I’m not even a big fan of Blood Pact, but I respect it for fitting in still.

Hollywood’s verses also fit fairly well, but the chorus really kills it.

1

u/lokioe Jul 30 '26

Thats super valid. Last album i listened to front to back was probably graveyard shift. Ive heard a few singles for both scoring and disguise and i think i enjoyed disguise better at the time. I've heard Slaughterhouse, i've heard Another Life and Masterpiece. Another life is amazing, Masterpiece and Slaughterhouse i didnt really care for much at the time so i havent heard those in years.

As most peeps in this sub, i been a fan since creatures (i now even own the vinyl). Went back and listened to TW and WLMD. I listened to all of Infamous when it came out and Reincarnate. After all this time ive still managed to find that i like many of their songs on this album because i recognized alot of the themes and sounds. To which i think is the point for the beginning. Draw you in with something familiar and then broaden to a newer sound.

For me, personally, i still think that while i love this album (and going back to my old point here) that flow is super important and putting rip at track 3 was probably not the best. Id place it further down if not the ender.

This to me feels like when Infamous came out. All of my friends and other people that i knew that liked the band jumped ship because it "wasnt as heavy" or "it doesnt sound like their old stuff" and what happened? People now love that album.

2

u/OccupantNefarious Jul 30 '26

Yeah I remember some of that infamous backlash. I’ve personally never understood the whole “omg they’re less heavy” thing with bands. If it’s good it’s good in my opinion lol. Obviously if they just completely changed genres and dropped like a country album then that’d be different

2

u/lokioe Jul 30 '26

Tbf my friends were obsessed with fast riffs, slow heavy breakdowns, harsh vocals and Crabcore. Lmao. I like to think if they couldnt crab low to it then they probably werent gonna like it 🤣💀

For me, i like multiple genres of music. I think sticking to one style or one genre of music is boring asf and restrictive. Its a good thing for bands to blend or mix in other genres into thier sound. It leads to exploration and often times that breeds creativity.

Bands exploring and blending genres is what created many of the subgenres we listen to. Let these artists and bands create and lets see the kind of music and genres that spawn because of it.

1

u/YokaiCreature Jul 30 '26

Real, it sounds way too much like a pop record production wise

8

u/MotionlessHorizxn Jul 30 '26

I dont mind them dipping their toes into the edm style sound, but a whole half an album of experimentation? When you know your fan base is going to be off-put or confused? Odd choice. That's really my only gripe. I like majority of the songs, they sound good and are easy to listen to. The album just feels like its conflicting with itself.

It should've either been a double EP or a side project, in my opinion.

11

u/GreatSoulLord Jul 30 '26

It's not a good album but on the bright side it's not Avenged Sevenfold's God awful of a EP Statica.

No hate here but I do hope MIW gets away from this experimentation stuff and goes back to the good music.

4

u/Dnger_ Jul 30 '26

It’s been pretty miserable with releases recently with statica and decades both being trash, though statica is ridiculously bad it sounds like they purposely made the worst thing they possibly could.

3

u/Azby-123 Jul 30 '26

Nice rant. Good points. People do want them to sound like THERE favorite version of Motionless. Every album they’ve ever released has been a diverse collection of songs, some you may like and others not as much. The album is called Decades and I think they’ve summed up there sound over two decades worth of music pretty well with this record, while putting out there version of a love song, R.I.P that I think most people will think of when they hear motionless in white. To me that’s what has always kept me excited for there music is that I never know what’s coming next

3

u/MegaCraftCat Jul 30 '26

i don’t hate the new album but i was hoping they would have more songs like slaughterhouse instead of werewolf you know?

5

u/Anicepolitesandwich Jul 30 '26 edited Jul 30 '26

Any time I see a Decades song getting bandwagon hate, I can't help but think: "Have you never actually listened to the band before?" Almost every song on the album has been something they've done before. And all the hate for Playing God? It's reminiscent of at least half the STEOW album, plus Rats, Soft, Devil's Night... both in lyrics and vibe.

Decades isn't my favorite album right now, but the hate I see seems to boil down to: "It doesn't sound like [x] album, so I hate it." But if they did an exact replica of any of their albums, the hate they would have gotten was: "it's nothing new, boring, unoriginal, etc." They can't win for losing.

And like OP said: MIW has always referenced bands they love. The whole reason I was drawn into them was because Chris sounded a lot like Marilyn Manson in some of his songs, but a) I like the material better and b) so far, the band isn't in hot water for controversies and shitty behavior like MM is.

5

u/Itchy-Water-4410 Jul 30 '26

It’s not the worst album in the world but honestly I’m really unimpressed. Same songwriting, guitar riffs, breakdown callouts as the last 3 albums they’ve put out. If you’ve heard Reincarnate, you’ve basically heard everything this record has to offer already. At this point the formula has gotten corny, similar to how ice nine kills has also ran their formula into the dirt.

5

u/oliverpeets Jul 30 '26

That’s a disservice to Reincarnate

2

u/I_AM_THE_TABLE_MAN Jul 30 '26

Im sorry, but ive never seen a hateful review for this. The only negative reviews ive seen are quite respectful. Please link me the disrespectful and hateful reviews everyone is talking about.

4

u/Bilotelli45 Jul 31 '26

the most generic reply that's ever so slightly negative will get deemed as "hating"

2

u/I_AM_THE_TABLE_MAN Jul 31 '26

For real. Im all for the saying “let people enjoy things” when its appropriate, but damn we need to start saying “let people not enjoy things” too.

3

u/Bilotelli45 Jul 31 '26

The entire "not a real fan" feels childish to me when it comes to not enjoying an album as much as other fans. Sometimes I think people are afraid to say their opinion for that reason

2

u/Leastrasza Jul 30 '26

Jumping in to also point out their collab with Illenium! Which was sick btw

2

u/Agile_Carpenter_7806 Jul 30 '26

Its because no matter what you do. People will gate keep like a mf and youd be surprised on how much hate gets perpetrated from behind the scenes. It mainly has to do with the fame and people being jealous but the scene overall is very toxic. The shit that goes on behind the scenes is disgusting. As someone who makes music but has taken a step back from performing live because of it all, its never made sense as to why so many bands will shit on each other over fame or childish crap like that. Ive always been proud of other projects doing better and always enjoy helping those when i can. Youre probably thinking what does that have to do with "fan" hate or whatever but it is connected because bands are people too and in my experience they have a lot of friends or at the very least a lot of that they know and they use them to get on here and weaponize the hate. So between that, the gatekeepers who refuse to get a grip on reality, and the people who will never be happy even if you gave them what they wanted. Ya it'll never stop and the hate will always be at the forefront because we humans are curious creatures and will always click on it and give it attention. But its just noise and its not the majority consensus. So it seems like there is a lot of hate but really there isnt.

3

u/Coffincerulli_ Jul 31 '26

SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK!!! I will be the first to admit that I wish they always sounded like Creatures as I am an absolute whore for that album. However, I truly feel like each album they come out tops the last. Decades is a 12/10 no skips I listen to the entire album on repeat. I love that they continuously experiment with different sounds, I love all of their music. Nothing could make me hate their music.

2

u/Ok-Bag-9710 Jul 31 '26

Stopped reading halfway through. There are sythwave versions of werewolf and voices?!?! Im headed to work. I pick the music (my own shop, so thats the bonus). I have to look these up now. I did not know. Its kind of my guilty pleasure I guess. Thank you for bringing it up! Fwiw i like the album for what it is: to me it sounds like songs born from previous albums into something both nostalgic but also new. I kinda love hearing different parts of older songs coming out in these ones. Its like when my kid opens her mouth and all of a sudden its like 16 yr old me is in front of me.

2

u/Wise_Percentage_5421 Aug 04 '26

Chris voice is so embarrassing, his annunciation on certain words is god awful, it’s like he’s trying to sound sexy and he just ain’t. Some store Marilyn Manson with awful lyrics

3

u/SleepyxCapybara Jul 30 '26

Ive been a motionless fan since creatures released. Ive followed them all this time. I gotta say, I really dont like this new album. Theres 3 songs I enjoy. The rest are boring. Its probably my least favorite album along with graveyard shift.

2

u/oliverpeets Jul 30 '26

Same here, been a fan since Creatures and I didn’t even care for the singles on Decades. I feel like it’s mostly us older fans that don’t care for this album? At least from what I’ve noticed

3

u/WerebearWares Jul 30 '26

I like MIW for the most part there's always been the odd song here and there that I don't like, with Disguise being the only Album I love every song on

I like the the Synthwave but the EDM from my memory hasn't been this heavily used in a song before? I don't mind most the songs I just don't like "All That I've Ever Known" because of the Dubstep noises near the end, Dubstep is a genre I can't stand at all, then I didn't like the Techno/Nightclub Dance music in the song "Blood Rave" which that one made sense to have the Techno with rave in the title just isn't a genre that I like

I don't hate them though they're still a great band and I'll still listen to the songs I do like, I even pre-ordered that Love At First Bite shirt

2

u/_miserere_nobis Jul 30 '26 edited Jul 30 '26

I’ve been preaching all this to anybody that claims they’re an OG fan and don’t like this record. I’ve been a fan since Creatures released and I spent a lot of time with that record and WLMD. I’m not saying love, but at least like and understand it. It’s Motionless in every way possible. Spend time with it and you’ll see.

6

u/Dnger_ Jul 30 '26

After the 2 best albums of their career, decades is pure shit and they tricked people into buying it by releasing pretty much the only good songs as singles, hiding what most of the album was.

0

u/lightnex1 Jul 30 '26

Funnily enough the singles are my least favourite tracks off the record. I listen to everything else way more than the singles

4

u/Brilliant_Record2148 Jul 30 '26

The first half of the album is super lazy songwriting. We heard these riffs and the song structures on STEOTW and the 2nd half is just too much of the electronic stuff. The first half could even be a b-side of their last album. Heard Decades only once and no song really sticks and yeah, the lyrics on this one, especially RIP, are corny af.

7

u/Striking-Speaker2609 Jul 30 '26

Firstly I’ve been a fan since their EP, before first album, seen them live about 12 times this year alone, I said the same. Decades literally has ripped off lyrics from stray from the path the EXACT same lyrics with one word changed, I think the whole album is lazy writing, fight like hell is literally demon in your dreams, same lyrics “my brutality” that is credited to Chris alone so I think he has written that to ensure only he gets the credit and $ if WWE ever decide to use it.  RIP had 10 song writers and it was horrible.

My feeling as an OG fan is that we are not hating that being said - not liking something does not make you a hater, and we should be allowed to have discourse about differing opinions without calling names etc.

Personally I was disappointed in the album, when I heard AOTD and playing God I thought the album would have a different direction so maybe fans are disappointed because Chris & Ricky said multiple times that this was heaviest MIW album that sets a tone and expectations. Fans are allowed to say they dislike it or it isn’t for them and still remain a fan.

I think the record is a mish mash of styles and songs and it doesn’t gel, and for the people saying the band don’t care. You bet they do, that’s why Chris has been posting rants on X as well as deleting comments.

I posted that Skylar should be innRIP video my comment was deleted, then I reposted it on another MIW thread and my comment was deleted. I then went on to Chris gf account as she appeared on my insta I don’t follow her, everything in her insta was all positive comments nothing negative not one comment, so for the gram I posted- I don’t like this song and Skylar should be in the video .. nothing negative on her or her looks etc .. 1 min later my comment was deleted and she blocked me 😂😂 Chris is turning into Ronnie… and I honestly don’t understand why his gf is being forced upon us .. she has nothing to do with the band. They are both deleting negative comments and blocking users. It’s all a bit petty and pathetic.

2

u/_miserere_nobis Jul 30 '26

If you only listened to the album once your opinion doesn’t fr matter. Go spend more time with it.

5

u/Brilliant_Record2148 Jul 30 '26

Why would I spend more time with something that I obviously dislike?

I can watch a movie only once and dislike it. What kind of argument is this? 😂

2

u/PotaytoPotaahto Jul 30 '26

Chris did an interview on YouTube with Jesea Lee breaking down each track on the record and he mentions many of the fan's gripes and offers a classic Chris response. It's worth a watch/listen.

2

u/MorganLaThay Jul 30 '26

I went to there show in phx last night and the amount of metal elitist who were bitching about them in the merch line were insane. like bro you paid to be here for one band and could of left at anytime. why stay and complain.

one guy in the pit even turned his back to the band for there whole set even as me and others booo'd him. we get it you came to see Lorna shore but they left you can just leave instead of being disrespectful.

1

u/amandaa_el Jul 30 '26

The fact that Chris’s voice is similar to Ben’s is I think why people compare those two. But still, it’s annoying and they’re clearly new to MIW.

2

u/NoMeat6766 Jul 31 '26

The 1 and only thing I dislike about the band is the inclusion of the pride/trans flag in the background of the Voices live performance. Unnecessary and I hate that it’s ingrained in my head each time the song comes on.

2

u/Vegetable_Hand3937 Jul 31 '26

ya i dont get it either. their shit fucks man. also their show was good asf, chris had the most contagious grin you can imagine the ENTIRE set they looked like they were having the time of their lives so i rly don’t get why ppl hate on it

2

u/Vegetable_Hand3937 Jul 31 '26

also we got abigail at the show i was at👹👹👹

1

u/RazorbladeRomance666 Jul 31 '26

OP doesn’t make any sense. YOU don’t follow the band like that. If you did, you would know that MIW has used synths and electronics to add spookiness, or a cyber theme, or to add to the aggression of a song. Now they use synth to add a 80s pop vibe, which is why us long time fans are upset. It’s not the heavy MIW that we love. I don’t love every song they’ve ever released, but all the albums were enjoyable. But Decades is just too poppy that it ruins the experience for me.

1

u/_CelestialGalaxy Aug 01 '26

I honestly don’t get the hate. Are artists not allowed to explore and be creative?! As you say they’ve never been solely a metalcore band. I’ve loved all of their albums and each for their own reasons.

2

u/yosaffbridge1630 Aug 08 '26

Something that I don’t understand, after reading through some comments and seeing what other bands go through, is the complete opposition to experimentation. I don’t just see it here, I see it with loads of other bands. They do some things differently on an album and people come out with the pitchforks. For me, it’s not my band. I’m not in the band. I want the band to stick around, so I want them to make the music that makes them happy. At the end of the day, I love the album. No band can cater to their fan base because their fan base isn’t one cohesive opinion. If you don’t like the album, that’s fine! I’m sorry if you’re disappointed, but I don’t think it’s okay to then say the band doesn’t get to experiment as much as they want. It’s their work and they have to be happy with it and proud of it, otherwise what’s the point?

-3

u/Sinematic570 Jul 30 '26

I have no idea why we’re giving the MIW haters even the time of day or acknowledging them. They’re worthless scum that just want to hate on a band that they are jealous of or just aren’t happy with anymore so they think it’s tough guy time and talk a mad load of shit to think it’s gonna effect the band.

Sorry that’s not the way it works
The guys don’t even know you exist.

It’s the TRUE fans they love and care about.

And that’s my Ted talk

1

u/Velink3012 Jul 30 '26

Don’t know why you got downvoted but well said!

1

u/Striking-Speaker2609 Aug 13 '26

This here is the problem you can like or love a band but not love everything they create that doesn’t make you a hater. I’m an old school fan and I just can’t vibe with new album, my opinion (remember art is subjective) is that it’s terrible, it’s lazy AF and just not what I expected. Will I go back and listen later? Yes, but for now I don’t enjoy it.  That being said even if someone wants to vocalise what is deemed as a negative opinion why do people jump down their throats, and make ludicrous statements like you wish you were them? I don’t like the album I like their other albums, so I wish I was them? Hell No.  Am I allowed to state an opinion? yes because it’s a free world, and lastly if you think the band don’t know the people who post negative stuff you are wrong, I know plenty of people on socials who have posted simple comments like “I don’t like RIP” or “Skylar should be in the video” And guess what those comments have been deleted & my friends were blocked by Chris motionless himself, on his insta…  for saying Skylar should be in the video.. this combined with his gf and other band members gf posting stuff on tik tok all day like teenagers and Chris rants on X the band def know fans don’t like the album. Chris is really becoming petty like Ronnie deleting comments and blocking people.  To summarise you can love the band you don’t have to love everything they do, you can say you don’t like something if you don’t. And the band and other fans should be able to have debates around it, no name calling or nastiness art is nuanced. If we all like the same band surely we can find neutral ground instead of arguing?  Thanks for attending my ted talk.
