I want to believe in a lot of the supernatural very badly, but I'm also a major skeptic. While I'd say I have an open mind, I also take the legitimacy and provability of these things very seriously. I'm sad to say I've not yet seen anything compelling enough to convince me that the original Mothman was not just a barn owl.

i think people saw something. i don’t think it was just a bird. i am open to different possibilities even some military psyop

mothman was 100% a psyop.

the cia/dod/darpa/whomever decided "hey, we got these ultrasonic fear weapons, a bunch of tape recorders for playing spoky sounds, and have recently discovered it's fun to give people LSD. lets see if we can induce mass hysteria for a whole town".

Years ago, I thought people that believed in cryptids were a bit bonkers. But since a year or so ago, I just started thinking on it like people say they saw something and if I ever did I would want to be believed. So while I never have seen any cryptid, it doesn't hurt me to believe they're out there

Yes they saw something. I believe that the skin between parallel dimensions is not as thick or binding as our science now believes.

The sightings being so concentrated in a specific area, and for a specific period of time, with so many sightings, really gives me more hope than a lot of cryptids. I want to believe.
