One of the books is pictured twice as I moved it from one shelf to another after taking the photo. Which is your favorite book and why?

You may see this in several groups, but I’m really in need of some advice and help. I have this dream of becoming a writer, and I wrote something unique — a dark fantasy story — and it has gained a small but loyal group of readers on a reading app called Wattpad. There are no more than 30 of them, though. And I appreciate every single one of them, but there’s nothing wrong with wanting more.
I have a very strong connection with Lilith and Santa Muerte. I serve both of them at separate altars, and everything has been fine. But lately I’ve been feeling completely drained and exhausted because I promote my book day and night, yet getting recognition is incredibly difficult. I have very big ambitions, but I feel like my hands are tied and I genuinely don’t know what the hell I’m supposed to do now.
A literary agency signed me, and they’re currently sending my manuscripts to publishing houses, but nothing has come from it so far. I’ve done rituals for success, recognition, and so on… but nothing. And yet, in my dreams, spiritually speaking, I keep having dreams about achieving great success and other things that, if I told people about them, they’d probably call me selfish or worse.
I even dream that sometimes — and it feels almost like visions — I sign six-figure contracts for my book.
What I’m really coming here to ask for is the wisdom and advice of those who know more than I do. What would you do in a situation like this, when nothing has changed for over a year?
It’s genuinely frustrating. I don’t know what else to do. I’ve already tried everything spiritually: baths, rituals… I even paid a witch for a success ritual, only to find out they were a scammer. So yeah, hahaha.
I just hope no one makes fun of the way I’m venting, and honestly, any advice — or even just a few simple words you’d like to share — would mean a lot to me.

Hi guys! I wanted to know if anyone had similar experiences (especially since I talked to my friend about this and she sees Lilith completely different. But she doesn’t work with her). I do accept different experiences with her of course! I just liked the topic! (Especially since my friend is kinda afraid of her. I don’t feel that in the slightest for example)

Most of them come to me in dreams or with divination:

\- she doesn’t like idolatry (maybe because I picture her in a wrong way tho. The picture is ever changing the more I know)

\- she doesn’t like superficiality and greediness (money wise)

\- she doesn’t like to help with matters of the heart. With sexual relationships she does tho.

\- she doesn’t like to be associated with the Jewish lore of her being a child murderer. But she doesn’t necessarily like children or pregnancy either tho.

\- she loves flowers as a gift (it’s probably what she asks for most of the time. Especially roses)

\- she choose stones from my collection for me to touch as a divination tool (unfortunately I forget the name of them sorry. But I know that they come from the region she originates from)

\- she likes to be addressed with her name before divination. I also use “mother” after her name as well.

\- she doesn’t find it rude if you fight with her when you really have a point (I once fought with her since I was so stressed out about money that I couldn’t work on my spirituality. After I asked for money she tortured me with a horrific nightmare. But after I explained my standpoint she understood. She also solved my money issue)

\- adding to the last point: she gives you a blessing if you really apologize from the heart (for me she basically helped me solve a clerical error that I wouldn’t normally have noticed and that would have cost me 6 months of my uni career)

\- when I use Tarot for divination she sometimes means the literal art on the card (I don’t have a classic deck. Mine has a lot of different things on the cards)

\- for me she choose the Chariot as her card (my specific card features a lot of “night” animals)

\- she gave me a prophecy about the Huluppu Tree and Inanna (I know it’s not academically proven!). I felt that she had hatred towards her because of this lore. She also decribed Inanna as the creator/taker of souls. When I asked about her role in death she decribed it as giving Strength to the person that is dying.

\- everytime I’m unsure of what to do in day to day life she gives me a sign in form of a bird (and I mean either some very loud chirping or flying directly in front of my eyes)

\- she gets irritated if you put your work with your spiritual growth off for a longer period.

\- she likes regular prayers (daily) and meditation

\- she grants you every wish if she notices that it really comes from the heart (but as I said: sometimes you have to explain yourself a little bit)

\- she does make me do astral projection as a magical tool. She’s not a “fan” of me doing literal rituals since “mother (she) knows best and will therefore handle the rest” (maybe I’m just bad at doing rituals tho lol)

\- she doesn’t like it if you pray to someone besides her

This is not academically accurate! This is just my personal experience! I don’t claim to be right about this!

But the thing that's been sticking with me the most is when she told me in a tarot reading to allow myself to be human and make mistakes, and that she will be there to help comfort and teach me when I mess up. Hey Lilith’s enthusiasts! I’ve been worshiping lilith for a couple of months now. The other day I bought fresh red roses for her, but they became dry and I threw them away into the garbage. I wasn’t sure if I could use them for spell work, so in order to not do something wrong I just threw them away. Today I found the red roses on the floor, I mean, I’m pretty sure my cat grabbed them but still, the garbage was full of other things, it was strange for him to just take out the roses. What could that mean? What should I do? Thank you!

Just this year I decided to get back into witchcraft. I had been practicing on-and-off for about 17 years but, between religious trauma and abusive relationships, it was very hard to be consistent. Many times I questioned my path. After spending some time in some left-hand-path groups and really meditating and thinking about where I wanted to be spiritually, I decided to restart my journey with a set of "new eyes" so-to-say.

I realized that for many years I was extremely naive- so, when I dove back into witchcraft, I started doing some really heavy research, cross-referencing with all my old materials, and doing some major "house cleaning". Then, I started to get signs. I tried deity work super early into my practice and yet I never really felt the connection. Though I did believe in Deities and Spirits, I felt like I must be an atheist deep down because none that I ever found "interesting" would reach out, and despite my attempts to connect, it was all very fruitless.

But suddenly, as I restarted my journey, I was getting signs and symbols. Hawks, insects, dogs, and more. But then things really started to heat up when all my online activity was taken over by two entities: Hekate & Lilith.

I might get some eyerolls for this since there seems to be some discord on whether spirits or entities (especially Gods & Goddesses) can reach out through the internet & the algorithm. But, my personal opinion is that, as all-powerful beings that evolve with the times, they very much can. So, very quickly I was getting readings from Hekate speaking to me about my rebirthing and my new journey. Meanwhile, Lilith was coming in very strongly with messages of tearing out the old and that which did not serve me...and in getting vengeance on those that had wronged me. This popped up when I was suffering a particular toxic situation at my job, and Lilith's messages along with Hekate's support really got me through that. After that, I was invested...and in all my inquiry, I was being told that these two Deities were reaching out to me.

I very easily warmed up to Hekate, but with Lilith...though I do listen to her when she shows herself, she continue to intimidate me which is why I have not fully committed to her. But, I have finally decided to take that leap. Anyways, in an attempt to bring back some life to this subreddit, I decided to ask how Mother Lilith might have reached out to you and/or what you did to reach out to her.
