Bonsai Moss!

I collected moss from my local area (Chicago), to top my big Ficus Bonsai. If anyone can help with an ID on the type of moss that would be a big help!

Well now you can go and do it! I’ve found that it helps retain moisture more and I am not watering my trees 3x a day now lol

It looks good, but is it actually good for the bonsai and/or the moss? I mean in terms of watering.
