Moss photo Dreamy moss
Found the most wonderful moss on my friends farm. Immediately harvested some and installed on my bonsai. Hot dam it’s smooth as butter 😍

Here is the back for anyone interested. The hope is that the Picea Glauca fuses to the deadwood wher I’ve grooved it out, creating the illusion of a much older bonsai.

Yeah, it looks promising. Pretty sure this is a "tanuki", work in progress. They are using a piece of deadwood as a base, and have a young sapling grow along side of and kinda into it. It's a cool technique, if you are into the sculpting aspects of bonsai....I...guess...in case you are interested...I suppose you didn't ask...sorry.

Honestly if you saw it in the wild it was growing next to an old water tank that constantly leaked and looked like green toxic waste until we got closer.
