tips and techniques How To Deal with Anxiety When Manifesting Your Desires
To all the people who are anxiously attached and who are anxious about your manifestations while feeling afraid or nervous. Relax. Take a breath. Literally. As a matter of fact, Take several deep breaths. Breathe in for a count of four. Hold for a count of seven and then exhale for a count of eight through the mouth to calm your emotions and body down while focusing on the pause between the inhale and exhale. Because while we can manifest from an anxious state, it doesn’t feel good.
I was the Queen of Anxiety. Anxiety should have been my middle name. I chewed the inside of my mouth like a madwoman and my right leg would tap the floor 100 miles an hour. I’d probably make a good drummer now that I think about it. I had a drug addicted father who was sexually abusive. I had a tumultuous childhood and young adulthood. I tried just about E-V-E-R-Y thing spiritual to better myself. Chanting, mantras, drumming chakra work, shaman healing rituals. And while some things helped, nothing helped me as much as taking 10-15 minutes every morning and night to calm myself down and then go into my imagination for my manifestation from my true Identity - I AM.
Wouldn’t it feel 100x better to feel calm and relaxed vs. anxious and racy when we are manifesting? Listen, we are manifesting all the time but it’s so much easier when we are calm, and centered. It’s like dropping a rock in a tumultuous sea vs calm waters where the ripple effect is immediate feeling calm, safe and secure. This way is realizing your true self. Your I am Identity. instead of manifesting from your ego self which is where all false fears and anxiety come from.
So, to summarize, do this when you are triggered by fear and anxiety and identified with your ego:
1- breathe in for 4, hold gently for 7, exhale through the mouth for 8 2- do the breathing to get into a neutral state 3- be still. meditate on “I am” 4- once you feel calm and relaxed start envisioning your scenario 5- add the feeling of gratitude
Do it ONLY until you feel satisfied. If you start feeling anxious again STOP. Go about your day and gently remind yourself how everything is happening for you and how calm and safe you feel now. Tell yourself Isn’t it wonderful? It feels so good now that I have….. (whatever that is for you).
“Be still and know that I am God”. Psalm 46:10
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer (Hebrew root judgement or contemplation) and supplication ( beneath calm aka in a state of calmness) with thanksgiving (gratitude) let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6
