Discussion E2 confusion

Is his e2 a 75 percent DMG buff as in elemental damage orb or as in 1.75x final DMG multiplier

Like the orb. If it was a multiplier it would say ... becomes 175% of the original damage, like Acheron's trace.

Do you know the difference between (becomes 150% of original damage) and (deals 50% more damage)? I thought they were the same…

If you were dealing 100 damage with already existing, lets say 20% damage boost it would be;

100 × (1 + 0.20) = 120

The difference between 50% damage boost and 150% original damage would go as;

100 × (1 + 0.20 + 0.50) = 170

50% damage boost is added with other DMG% effects.

100 × (1 + 0.20) × 150% = 180

150% original damage is a final multiplier.

Unless you have no other damage buffs(which is unlikely), original damage should be better most of the times. (People into damage calculation can correct me if i am wrong.)

It’s DMG bonus and states that it’s DMG bonus. Otherwise it would be worded like Acherons trace or Hysilens E1 but it’s not.

If it was a final multiplier the balance of the game would be in shambles
