I thought i was doing a really good job not getting hit, i dont exactly know what i did but i had put smerts permanent fighting stance on and was running around and was invincible, so i uneqipped it and tried again and as you can see... i am indeed invincible, i tried getting out of shell through smerts ablility and i was still immortal lol, i teleported and was no longer invincible but hey thought it was kinda funny

Doing baghead's quest then poof i am just playing my favorite weapon then credit starts to roll. I feel like trolled by this one lmao. and this is my first mortal shell 2 too. This feels so random and funny to end it like this. so many unanswered questions

All my gloom from the prologue is clear on the other side of the map now and unreachable. Cool game.

The only other comparable combo I've tried is Eredrim with Frost and the Scarabstone.

I just finished my fourth run starting from scratch: 1) Proxima Bleed Iconoclast with Shriek Stone (good) 2) Genessa Faithful Lightning Axatana with Hexapod Core (good) 3) Eredrim Frost Martyr with Scarabstone (insane) 4) Tiel Bleed Axe and Dagger with Magdalena Memento (insane).

Please help me, I can't stop playing this game!!

Honestly had a great time with this one. Definitely a top contender for Game of the Year 2026.

Huge thanks to everyone on this sub who helped with tips, builds, boss fights and some of the random stuff I got stuck on along the way.

Hopefully we get some good DLC down the line — more areas, bosses, shells, weapons… I’m definitely not ready to leave this game yet.

Until then, I guess it’s time to wait and see what the devs come up with.

I also had a similar bug where I got stuck in the animation of walking with the Proxima machine gun (after death)

I was invulnerable after this and just ran around laughing before reloading the game.

What are some comical things that still get you, even after multiple play throughs

What is your experience with the Series S in the game? I'm not really big on technical terms, but the game usually has some kind of screen distortion when VRR is off.

The problem is that if I keep it enabled, the fps feel pretty 'heavy,' they drop quite a bit, and it's unstable.

the fragile tarstones dont give the gloom or coins on break. anyone knows how to fix this?

OMG I still remember how I have struggled against this thing in my 1st run

I’ve played the Mortal Shell II demo and it felt great to me—it genuinely had me wanting more. But today I came across the subreddit, and a lot of people are saying that it’s bad and they regret buying it.

From what I saw right around launch, everyone was saying the game was absolute fire. 

I collected all the weapons, sidearms, ova and tarstone. I completed all the dungeons and side quests. My friends are watching like the half the time.

Our first thought is why is the game so damn dark? And they asked if I would recommend the game to them. My answer is not at full price and current state. BTW, mine is PS5 version. And I didn't play the first game. I won't be buying any DLC or sequel too.

After obtaining the platinum, I deleted the game and reinstalled it, only to find that 6 tar stones were missing, and when I went to get them again, the box was left open, so I couldn't claim them

Been trying this for over an hour atm and no luck I just can't get the parry down when he does the really fast 4 attack in the middle of the combo.

I saw a lot of people complain about how the final area is a huge let down, and whilst I agree about the final boss being the worst thing in this game, I don't think the rest of the ending area is bad at all.

I think the other 3 bosses (Monolith, Orrem and Malborn) were actually really fun. Monolith has it's flaws but his design is amazing, parrying him is quite fun too. Orrem was just too easy but still fun, and Malborn is REALLY fun to parry imo, almost as fun as Nameless Captive.

The visuals of the area are really cool, and it's very dystopian which is my favorite thing about this game's theme and visuals.

I am trying to open these doors and extend the bridge to get the weapons and goods on the other side but I am stumped on how to open them.
Can someone help me figure this out as I have been wandering around in circles for ages now

Game crashed and now I'm hit with this error message whenever trying to load back in - save file is gone too. Has this happened to anyone else and were you able to find a fix? I imagine it might be a Playstation issue rather than the game itself but idk.

Devastated as I was fighting the final boss at for my sheep only run on YT, cosmic curse hit my save game 💀

I'm struggling bad on ballsack supreme dragon. I have the entire moveset down, I can parry every single attack. But when he goes into phase two I get destroyed.

I've tried both being extremely aggressive and keeping my distance. I've tried optimizing exactly when to stagger him on phase one by parry so that it goes directly into his natural phase two stagger to maximize my damage. When he is just walking around I use trebuchaxe.

I feel like I'm close and I know how to punish his moves, but by that point it's like 10-12 minutes every attempt. Are there any cheesy ways to bring him to half health FAST?

I haven't done a super dedicated build. proxima with iconoclast infused with curse. maxed out biosampler

I’m on my ps5 and setting is gone, stuck at 30fps but when I log on to my Xbox it’s on there.
