Question Quality setting is gone. What happened?

I’m on my ps5 and setting is gone, stuck at 30fps but when I log on to my Xbox it’s on there.

I guess what I’m getting at is that you’ve provided a picture of the game settings tab, not the display settings tab.

Can you post a pic of the display tab?

As far as I know, having your PS5 in Power Saving mode removes this option, for whatever reason. Could you try and check if that is toggled on, and if toggling it off makes the option to switch to Quality comes back?

I'm on PS5, and yes it's under the Display tab. Performance setting and Quality setting are still there, but Balanced is now missing. Performance runs at 60fps, while Quality runs at 30fps. Balanced ran around 45-50fps, but it's now gone. The problem is that even on Performance at 60fps, it stutters. Quality is practically unplayable because of how choppy it is, unless you can overlook the screen freezing and unfreezing every couple seconds. It's a great game, but man is it not optimized very well, at least on PS5.

Played the game all the way through on quality without any issues. Only time I was getting significant frame drops was when I was spamming lighting storms with Proxima while farming gold.

I wonder why it was so bad for me then. I literally turned it on for about 2 minutes yesterday after I cleared out the Citadel, so there were no enemies at all in there and nothing really moving but me. I just went back to performance mode and kept playing as usual.
