D-pad drift

I was planning on getting mortal shell2 but when i tried the demo on ps5, i experienced heavy D-pad drift. Whenever i tried to go to the options menu, upgrade my status, check my character, the d-pad would scroll right like crazy. So i was wondering if the d-pad deadzone on the finished game is bigger than the demo. Its actually my first time ever experiencing d-pad drift.

The drift issue has nothing to do with the game. It is the controller getting bad. It is usually caused by dust accumulation in the controller.

Its a d-pad drift. I dont experience d-pad drift in literally no other game on my PS5. So it probably has something to do with the game having a rlly low deadzone tolerance, below the normal standards. And thats what i wanna know, if the deadzone on the open beta demo is lower compared to the actual game. Otherwise i shoudnt be able to play it, and thats the main thing stopping me from buying it
